I want my king to have the best genetics and the best markings to earn me the most money from trades and studs. However, a lot of the markings that are valuable I honestly don't like and think they don't look good. Meaning I'd be stuck with markings I didn't like on my king, even if they're valuable. This would be different from hidden markings as it wouldn't be in a slot that's not unlocked, rather in a slot that is unlocked and the marking can pass onto cubs without a problem and you wouldn't need to unlock a slot to see it, it'd be visible at birth. I think that we'd be able to go into the Oasis and purchase it for about 1-2gb. You'd apply it by going into the hoard, clicking on the item, and clicking on the lion you want to hide the marking on and then the slot which the marking is in. For example, if you have a lion named "Quail" and you want to hide a pulsar margay that's in slot 6, you'd go to the item, and click "Lion: Quail" and "Marking: Pulsar Margay (Slot 6)". So Quail would still be able to pass on their pulsar margay, it just wouldn't appear on themselves. Once you go to the markings for Quail, it'd list the markings as normal, but once you got to slot 6 with the pulsar margay it'd say "Slot 6: Pulsar Margay (Hidden)" and the text could also possibly be of lower opacity. In addition, when looking up a lion with specific markings, lions with hidden markings would appear as they are genetically still on the lion and passable, just not visible. I assume there would also be a unhide marking item in the oasis but I haven't thought about that very much. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to make this better and if you don't support then as to why. I also want to change it's name as I feel as it's to similar to the "hidden markings" feature that's already in the game, but I'm not sure what I would change it to. Also please tell me if someone has already suggested this in the past! Thank you! |

If it helps, something with the same effect is already possible: buy an Opacity Changer and change the marking's opacity to 1%. It'll be so faint as to be virtually invisible, but can still pass down to cubs (opacity does not affect the odds of the marking passing down). Hope this is helpful! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I did think of this- however doing this annoyed me simply because of the fact that this affects the cubs opacity (I understand you can change it- but it just bothers me personally because you'd have to do it for every single cub) 0 players like this post! Like? |
