Idk why this came to me now but I thought it would be a nice story to tell and hopefully brighten someones day.

So back when my little sister was still itty bitty, like 3 or 4, some times my mom would need to take a smoke while she was asleep. And being the oldest I was tasked with watching her in case she woke up from a night terror (she was in the NICU for a while and the occasional nightmare popped in now and then). So I'm laying in the giant bed next to her, reading some posts on tumblr and what not when she wakes up with the worst bed head known to man. She's still tired and I knew my mom was a little on edge more often then not lately so I just quietly urged her back to sleep. I rubbed her back and pulled the blanket back over her. But this toddler decided I looked like a great pile of pillows to lay on. And she crawled over and starfish sprawled herself on top of me. Out like a light. I died a little from cuteness inside. And I laid with her like that for half an hour, going between the same three apps until my mom came into the bedroom and saw me being held hostage by a sleeping child. Jokingly, I silently mouthed "Help me!" My mom did not help me, she in fact took multiple pictures of my new occupation of professional body pillow and posted them on facebook for the rest of my extended family to see.

I was able to escape thankfully but I think I'll always miss the weight of my little sister laying on me. But yeah, just a wholesome little anecdote from a while ago, hope it made some of you smile!
