Mass-breeding lions but your kings base just won't pass on? Tried to look at the wiki but it's just a tiny bit too complicated? In here is everything you need to know if you want to be introduced to Base breeding without getting thrown into all the chaos of all the different possibilities.A very important role in base breeding are the genetics. Let's have a look at one of my former kings Hirath Oh no, he's bombed with markings! It's a bit difficult to identify the base by pure looks, so let's look a little further into it. As you can see here, his base is called Divine which has Black Dark Countershaded Special genetics. Now this might sound a little much and scary at first but fear not! I will explain everything you need to know about that. We are going to start with the chances and rarity you can breed a base, in this case, Special. There are 4 different terms in that area that cover all the bases in Lioden. Common Uncommon Rare Special If you want to successfully pass on a Special Base (in this case, Divine) I suggest you breed it to another Special or Rare based lion. Now there are many different bases with similar genetics and I'm going to show you the most compatible one for in this case, Divine breeding. Before you start a breeding project, you must know that the passing rate for a special base when bred to another special base is only 4%! And only for the special one as the rate for common, uncommon and Rare bases is 1% and 2%. Which means, you have to prepare that even though your chance rises a little, it will still take time and ressources! My easiest method for getting a Divine is mass collecting and breeding one specific base called Slate. Here is one of my girls for an example Now when you look at her genetics, you can see that they are the exact same besides the rarity as hers is rated Rare. The reason why I don't breed to other Divine bases is that they are more expensive, you can sometimes get a slate lion for around 300sb to 1k depending on stats and looks. Now why I suggest using a Rare rated base is because even tho it has the same chances as an Uncommon one, the rare base is a Breed-Only Base. Some people collect them and you can try to sell failed breeding attempts for a little more than the normal uncommon ones. So to sum it all up, here I am breeding a Black Dark Countershaded Special lion to a Black Dark Countershaded Rare lion. The chance for the special base is only 2%, but its possible. This Divine cub is the result of breeding that lioness I showed you above with my Divine king. This happened on her first heat, but just because it did happen doesn't mean its easy. I have around 10+ other Slate lions in my den which all have not yet produced a Divine cub so it really depends on your luck too! I will expand this thread and show you the best and cheapest bases to breed to your favorites! Just let me know which base you want to breed and I will include it here. 0 players like this post! Hi! Wanted to let you know that it’s perfectly possible to get a special base by breeding a special and a common/uncommon base. It’s a 1% chance for a special base to pass when bred to a common base and a 2% chance with an uncommon base. You can find the percentages here on the wiki! 0 players like this post! Like? |
