I bought some lionesses a while ago (including one with rosette markings) but all their cubs are either blank or similar to their dad (in my case, not a good thing lol). Even when i bred them to different males, the patterns i wanted never showed up! Is there any item that can help me with this? 0 players like this post! Like? There's ochre gnawrock, which guarantees a certain marking passing onto all cubs in a lion's next litter - but it's extremely valuable so it's not worth using them on most normal breedings. Besides making sure both parents have as many markings as possible, the other thing you can do is try to line up the stud and lioness's markings. If they both have the same marking in the same slot (e.g. if both parents have sunset feralis in slot 5) then the cubs have an increased 75% chance of inheriting the marking in that slot. Otherwise, if the parents have different markings in a certain slot - or one has no marking at all - there's a lower chance of the cub inheriting anything in that slot. I'm not sure if exact %s have ever been released, but I think it's closer to a 50% chance in that instance. Other than that it's all down to rng, you just have to hope for the best and sometimes you'll be lucky :) 0 players like this post! Like? |
