Hello all! I’m working on creating my Favorite Lion Ever, but i’m having trouble decorating it. After, like, literally hours of looking at Every. Individual. Background. And tons of trial and error for decors, I remembered that I love decor contests. So! Here we are. I probably won’t end up using someone’s exact entry, rather combining and taking inspiration from several, so I’m really looking for people to love what they create if that makes sense. My favorite entry will receive 10 geebs! Might end up doing runner ups as well, we’ll see how many entries I get ;)

What I’m looking for/ my preferences!
The basic idea for this lion (may be subject to change in the future) is that it is the king of a pride that lives high on mountains at the highest of altitudes. The pride is so high up, with such cold, thin air, that time slows while you visit and is only “active” rarely (so, basically, the pride would only be rolled once a month). So, I recommend theming around this being a king of a society high in the sky, that are a bit full of themselves.
Try to make the lion, the decors, and the background all blend together! I don’t care if you only add two decorations to your submission if it melds together beautifully. Your best bet is to not forget decorations highlighting the environment around the lion.
Color coordination is the bomb. We’re looking for silvers and grays and whites, with orange highlights.
Try not to cover the eyes of the lion/ side of the body! Show off those markings baybey!
I. LOVE. WINGS. If you can fit wings into this then you are cool and great.
Another very specific request: I love the event scar: turbulent, and I’ll probably end up using it in my final draft. Just food for thought :3

My preferences and what I’m looking for are only recommendations! At the end of the day I really care the most about you guys creating something you love and think is beautiful, and if the above limits that, feel free to throw it out the window (though it might make you less likely to win :p). This whole project is a draft, so I'm always interested in new ideas :D

Some rules for decorating!
Don’t change the lion’s eyes, mane, base, skin, basically everything must remain the same, apart from the exceptions to follow, which you don't have to do;
You CAN add a piebald or patches mutation! I do prefer piebald for this lion, and something that covers as little markings as possible is preferred.
Don’t change the lion’s markings or opacities! I’m really loving how it looks right now! However, markings 6 and 8 are empty, so if you have a Really good idea for a marking feel free to add it, but I don’t really recommend it. Keep in mind other rules and my preferences, and I won’t accept any brawl/ rumble/ squabble.
The kind pose is my favorite, and I personally think it looks the best. However, neutral and good poses are also alright to use! None of the others really fit the vibe I want to achieve, or they otherwise cover the markings too much. IF, by some miracle, you can make the un-posed un-lab frogged male lion look good decor-wise, then give it a go! This lion is pretty as a male, but… that’s still not saying much. Plain male ugly as hell

Please provide the big long link for your submission! It will be under “Lion Code”. This way we don’t have to worry about any timers or you deleting the saved code.

Put the long Lion Code link in ”linkhere”, delete the asterisks, and put whatever word you want to be the hyperlink (link entry 1, entry 2, whatever) in “words/name/adjective”. The word will then be highlighted, and we’ll be able to click it to see your entry.

I’m planning on keeping the contest running for a bit over a month, so it would end about the end of September, but I might shorten/ lengthen this depending on the entries. I might find something I really really love and end early, or I might end up enjoying seeing everyone’s decorations so much I’ll extend it lol.
