Hey i didn't see any similar types of things so I thought it would be a good idea to write this  So I have people killing, chasing, selling, reserving my traveling lions for karma or profit, or just keeping them for selfish reasons. So I thought what if you could add a new option where you can like set a lion to traveling mode where the person can't sell them or kill them? and if they try a text box could show up saying "this lion does not belong to you you cannot do this action" or "this lion can't be killed right now" or if you want it to roleplay it could be "You want to kill something...or someone you look at -enter traveling lions name- but then realize she's not your to get rid of... And have it so you can set a number of days you want said lion to stay in said pride before being returned back to you as well as said age I usually want my lions back at 10 years sometimes older but this add on would not only be relaxing for me but for everybody else who does traveling lions because they don't have to worry about their lions getting killed, reserved etc.and if you dont support tell me why? also ik it will be difficult to add in |

I really like this idea! But some people could try to use it as a scam when gifting/ selling lions without people like new players noticing :(. Unless once its been set as a travelling lion/ lioness it cannot be sold so the person who would be buying it won't be scammed out of money at least  1 player likes this post! Like? |

once the lion has been set to traveling mode only the owner could remove the traveling lion mode if thats what you mean 0 players like this post! Like? |

This would be so useful and nice! SO you don't have to worry about your lioness being killed. Also with a cooldown for traveling, like someone could only have her for a certain amount of days until they'd kinda be forced to give her to someone else, or when a specific date she'll be returned to the owner! 0 players like this post! The trouble is this seems like a logistical nightmare to code to be honest. For instance what if the account the lion is on becomes inactive and doesn't roll? How could it be coded so that the lion would eventually still be returned to its 'owner' in that circumstance, without introducing a huge loophole people could exploit to freeze more valuable lions on inactive accounts and still be able to get them back without the account rolling? Plus this idea, like most of the potential solutions I've seen to fix issues with travelling lions, seem to conflict with the fundamental 'once it's in your pride it's yours to do as you like with' ethos of buying/selling/ownership on LD. I'm not really sure how to get round that without causing more problems than it solves :( 1 player likes this post! Like? |

If possible, they could possibly add a feature where a lioness on traveling mode couldn't be traded. And you could check when the lioness is on traveling mode, maybe near the top of her page saying (This lioness is on traveling mode and cannot be traded!) Something like the trading cooldown! A mod could possibly give a person a warning if they giveaway a cub with traveling mode on when the cub is for giveaway/free. Since that would be abuse of the feature! 0 players like this post! i feel like if this was something that could be done, it would have been already. travelling lionesses have been around forever. but when trading/selling/gifting lions, you have no control over them anymore. travelling lions included. its sad but nothing really can be done. it also brings up the question, what would make you the "rightful owner" over someone elses pride the lion is in? how would this be determined with liodens rules? 1 player likes this post! Hey, I just noticed this thread and our clan has a massive traveler system going (strong growing community for three+ years) That being said, Wolvden has a system specifically for travelers now, so perhaps that’s a very good sign that we may in the future get traveler compatibility! I’d imagine they’re waiting until the site recode happens to consider the option. 0 players like this post! Like? |
