not entirely sure if anyone will like them but i have this original species i've been developing and i've heard that people on lioden really like closed species! so i thought maybe i could put them up here and make a few adoptables so more people can share my cool little dragons with me!

as for their designs they're not too wild or original i will admit. the working species name is Love Dragons bc i haven't thought of a better one, basically they're 4 legged dragons with ears, gem horns, and feathered wings. they have scales but have fur on top so they appear more as fluffy dragons! they have spiked chins idk i thought it looked cool. they also have gems that grow throughout their body (most often between the ribs, but in some lethal cases the gems can also grow from dangerous places like out of eyes.)

lore wise, i've put a bit more into their development. each dragon gets their powers from a different type of love, ie platonic, romantic, etc. they are born with a crystal casing around their hearts and within their first years of life they will 'choose' their type of love somehow (think mlp cutie mark gaining) and after that they become much more powerful and their gems start to grow depending on how much theyre feeding into their lovetype.

there are traits such as doubled horns or tusks, and mutations such as extra limbs and lethal gem growth!

here are my two ive designed so far, i got lazy and didn't draw their legs but they have 4 toed/clawed feets and can have long tails :} also they don't have differences in biological sex (aka theyre all the same organ wise) and reproduce solely through the merging of magics so there's no ugly views on gender or sexuality so your dragon can have any gender identity and there's no hate or anything like that because damn it this is my little universe and i refuse to make it hateful

ALSO, here's a little sketchy mockup type thing i made of a standard luvdragon! they can vary in body shape but i just drew a lithe/skinny type one bc those are the ones i've shown so far. but they can definitely be short, plus sized, etc.
