Is there any chance the event could be cross-posted to be available for Lioden users to participate in it as well? I am unable to access Discord because of the old device, I cannot afford a new one and this one since about 2 years ago no longer lets Discord work - so no matter how much Id like to join, I simply cant do that.

Minoans is not a lioden based closed species! We are a discord based closed species! Lioden was simply an advertising Avenue.
You cannot even open Discord in browser? If you’ve a phone or some other device you can probably access Discord that way as well. I’m sorry! I don’t want anyone to feel excluded from the fun.
The event ended yesterday, as it was our October event, but we plan on a December one also..

Unfortunately it’s unrealistic to cross post everyrhing we do to lioden. LD is not based in real time progress and most of the things we do are immediate. If we have anything that’s a long period of time (such as an art or writing contest) I can post that on the lioden but things like auctions, gachas, and breeding slots sell out in seconds. Unfortunately, having it posted on both LD and discord would be helpful to no one… they’d sell out on discord before lioden users could even open the thread.

I’m very sorry you can’t access the discord, it’s an amazing community and I haven’t encountered anyone else with the accessibility issue. If, in the future, I need to make accommodations I will see what I can do. Until then, generalized updates will be on lioden and mostly everything else will be on the discord.

I cannot open Discord anywhere - it simply opens as a blank, black page, it does not load, nor gives me access to anything, no front page, no nothing. So no, I cannot access discord at all. Once it broke the support for older devices few years ago, it never restored it - I cant even reach support on Discord to try making them look into the issue.

Oh well. Thank you for answering. I will leave the clan and unsubscribe.

Unfortunately we cannot uproot an entire community and have them move base to a pet site most of them do not have in order to appease one person.
As much as Hearteater and I would love for you to be a part of our community, it is ultimately not up to us that you do not have a device able to participate. It is not us “leaving you out,” you would be more than welcome to join if it was not your own personal problem keeping you from accessing the community. I would appreciate in the future you do not attempt to guilt my partner into making exceptions for you based on your own choices.

When you do eventually get an upgraded device, we would happily welcome you into the Discord group so you can take part in the festivities. However until then, there is not much else we can do for you. We do appreciate your interest in the species and I hope that one day you are able to appreciate it with us. :)
