Please for the love of god I'm tired of playing missing simulator

"Your attack misses"
"The enemy attacks you for 15 damage"
"You attack misses"
"The enemy brutally destroys all your hp in two turns as you continue to miss and the only way you can come back from it is if they started missing"
"Your attack misses"
"The enemy laughs as you once again get screwed by rng"


I'm 100% serious. I saw in another thread that making stats mean something might encourage people to start statting and therefore possibly mess with the game a bit?

So at least make the battling require some sort of strategy other than the occasional claw for soft skin and roaring at smaller/scared enemies

Maybe a sort of basic skill tree that you can put points into certain skills. You'll get one point per level until level 10/15, then you get one every other level? Or maybe one per 5/10 levels. This would give the leveling system more use other than just giving more stats.

"Skill" Ideas
- Make your lion do more damage (at the cost of taking more damage; glass cannon build).
- On the other hand, make your lion tougher but at the cost of doing less damage

Idk feel free to drop more ideas

I'm just tired of spamming bite or claw all the time and then dying anyway cause I keep missing.

Also feel free to tell me if this is off limits for suggesting or if it's been suggested before! I scoured the forum for any mention of this, and I didn't see anything, but I might've missed it
