Growth

"You can send your Wyrms out to explore for a bit and they'll come back transformed! Why this happens, I'm not entirely sure. The lands around here have some magic properties so I assume that has something to do with their growth. I've heard of wyrms being able to grow a total of two times, but I've never seen anything past their pupa stage!"

Grub
All Wyrms start out at the grub stage and are perfectly happy remaining in the stage if they want. There are no drawbacks to it, and you can still breed your grubs together to get new grubs! However, if you want to unlock some exploration features, you'll need a larger creature then a grub! (They've got no hands to bring anything back to you, after all!)
Pupa
Pupa's are the second stage of growth for Wyrms! Now they can go out and explore and bring things back to you! You can explore ONCE a day for items! In order for a pupa to grow into the final stage you need to undergo another Growth exploration. It costs quite a bit more to let them go out for this final exploration, but it pays off in the end!
Queen/King
These guys are the biggest of the species! They can still breed and explore, but now when they explore they have the possibility of bringing back a random Wyrm grub from that biome!

Grasslands
Send your Wyrms out to explore the grasslands! You can see various Pupa and Queens/Kings wandering in the distance and lounging in the shade of trees. This is the habitat of all Earth based Wyrms, but you can find various other items here as well!
Possible item outcomes: Earth Wyrm Grub (Queen/King), Item 1 (Pupa), Item 2 (Pupa), Item 3 (Pupa)

Crystal Lake
Send your Wyrms here to explore the crystal clear waters of this lake! You can see a few other wyrms darting in the shallows, and it looks like there might be larger ones deeper in! This is the habitat of all Water based Wyrms, but you can find various other items here as well!
Possible item outcomes: Water Wyrm Grub (Queen/King), Item 1 (Pupa), Item 2 (Pupa), Item 3 (Pupa)

Lava Fields
Send your Wyrms here to explore the scorching hot lava pits! You can see a few wyrms looking down at you from the peaks of various cliffs and glowing eyes peering out at you from some of the caves nearby. This is the habitat of all Fire based Wyrms, but you can find various other items here as well!
