Solis Occasu POV -

Solis Occasu comes up to Fire-Haven, he leans his head towards him and lays down with him. Throughout the night, Solis Occasu could hear the Lion Ancestors roaring to him as a honer and respected lion in the pride. He woke up, Stream was already eating but something was different. He looked back at Fire-Haven, "He's dead now, what do we do? We have no deputy, he was too late." Stream said looking at Solis Occasu with worried eyes. "Don't worry! The Lion Ancestors roared to be at midnight, I think they are telling me something." He replied. "I hope so, but you're no deputy. You can't go to the Ancestor Stone to earn the King title." She comforts him by sitting down and touching his nose. Solis Occasu joins her and rubs his body as he's going down her body, then lays down on the great rock. "I hope we find a new leader soon or else all hell breaks loose and the kingdom falls." Stream says out of nowhere. "I won't let that happen! Plus we have a whole month to select a new king, how hard can that be?" He mutters.

Solis Occasu comes into the main cave and sits down to eat some beetles, soon after Stream comes and lays beside him. She purrs at him and he responds, then she gets back up and starts eating beetles too. About half an hour has passed by and still dead silence, but that changed when Rose walks in and has a share with the beetles. Rose looked annoyed but she didn't say anything, after some time has passed by Peach comes trotting into the cave. She sits down waiting for a turn at the dinner tabme, she gets impatient and starts cuddling her way to the table. Solis Occasu noticed and starts growling at her, hoping she will lay back down and respects the adults. She does what a cub would do and lays back down. Solis Occasu then walks out of the cave and looks up at the sky, hoping the Lion Ancestors will give him a sign of hope in their kingdom.

Solis Occasu wakes up before his fellow pride mates, he walks out and goes to pride rock. He looks at the sunset and wonders what the future holds for him. (Will I ever become king?) He wonders, he looks at the cave and sees Stream [His mate] come out of the cave. She sees him and walks over, she cuddles with him and soon lays down beside him. Solis Occasu noticed that she is in heat and starts to make that [Breeders face], she rolls her eyes. "Ready to make some cubs?" Solis Occasu asked and also half joking. Stream then rolls her eyes again, she goes down to the hunting grounds. Solis Occasu follows her and sees a bush, Stream walks towards the bush along with Solis Occasu. Then they did it!

Peach's POV -

Peach watches as Stream and Rose eat some beetles, wishing she had some too! She cuddles her way into the dinner table but then Solis Occasu growls at her and forces her to back away. (Meanie!) She thinks, then Stream gets up and goes outside of the cave, Peach makes her move and finally feasts on beetles. Soon after she goes to her mother, Rose. "Stay still." Rose grabs her from the neck and starts cleaning Peach. "But I am clean mother! Please, I want to go outside!" Peach squeals and gets out from under her mom's paws. "Fine, don't go too far! And Stream is going with you!" Rose yawns and lays down, "I am not going with Stream." She mumbles, she sneaks out of the den and goes to the hunting pride lands. (Easy! No one even noticed me), she heard a leaf crunch, she turns to the noise and growls and is put into a defense position. Stream comes out of hiding and plays with Peach, "Come on! I thought no one noticed me!" Peach assumed. "I heard your mother loud and clear! Plus it's too dangerous for a cub to walk out here alone." Stream says, "I am no cub! I can protect myself!" Rose says with an attitude. "You have much to learn!" Stream says in response.

Peach looks at her mother, making sure it's ok that she goes out alone. Her mother makes a sign saying that it's ok. She goes running off, she is not a cub anymore! She goes to the great rock and admires the beautiful night along with the stars, she hears something in the bushes. She turned her head in a instant and starts growling, the grass then starts to move. "Who's there!?" Peach growls, unaware that she is about to get into a fight. A second passes without a sound, Peach feels the breeze and soon after begins a fight.
