I will be updating this, and feel free to comment if there's a common racket you don't see on here! Always Buy GB from "GB Sales" This is probably the number one way new players get taken advantage of. I even fell for this when I first started playing! Always buy GB HERE at the GB Sales at the Oasis/Trading Center. DO NOT buy it in the trading center HERE. Why? You'll pay 1 GB for 600 SB (or 1400 SB for 1 GB) in the Trading Center, and while you can sell 1 GB for 900-1000 SB in GB Sales. Be Wary of "Mystery" Raffles This is a piece of advice that will translate to real life as well. When something is advertised as a "mystery", it's because the idea that it could be anything it more marketable than what it actually is. Meaning, if it was a good item or mutie that would bring in it a lot of tickets, it wouldn't be a mystery. There's so many good raffles these days for very low explore drop entry, why gamble on the prize being good when you're already gambling? Be Wary of Raffles in the Forums Raffles in the Forums have no oversite, and is not conducted using an RNG system from the official website. Meaning, the player themselves picks the winner. There is nothing stopping them from picking a friend, or intentionally picking again if they do use a random number generator that lands on someone they don't like. Also, there's a human error element where maybe the records of your tickets gets lost. Using official systems is always best on Lioden. Do Not Send Lions You send an item or lion to a player, it's theirs now. This is probably the oldest one in the book. Double Check Offers Some folks will post items like look like or sound like good items. Always Negotiate Onsite Do not do any sort of deals or negotiations on TikTok, Discord, Facebook, or anywhere else. Modbox needs onsite evidence to enforce any sort of deal.
