What gameplay feature is this bug affecting?

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
I tried to rollover my account today and it seemed to be fine at first, though I noticed my daily message only mentioned my larva and no lions. I did a couple of normal things and went to grab my event quests and was told I'd already taken all 3 I could today. I wasn't keeping close enough track of my piety to notice if that had changed but I doubt it. As I continued, I noticed that I could play most games again but not Serengeti Shuffle, it saying I had already submitted a score, and that I had already used my Giving Tree adoptions up. My lions seem to have not changed either, judging from their moods and hunger.

Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion?

I can give screenshots if you want, but they just look like I've already done things that I haven't yet done today and I can only assume are somehow left over from yesterday.

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
I have no idea how this happened, other than just clicking rollover and maybe my internet connection bugged out?
