So if you breed cubs from 1 or 2 primal parents, but get normal cubs, do those cubs still have a small chance of putting out a primal in the future? Or does the chance go back down to 0% without another primal stud?

Non-mutated lions do not have any boosted chance to pass mutations, regardless of their parents' or grandparents' mutations. They can throw random mutations like any other lioness - however the odds are very low and are not improved by their heritages.

Primal does not pass through females, except for the primal Ferus variant. You'll need to breed to a male primal or primal variant (felis, ferus, smilus) in order to get a chance for primal cubs, if your female is not the Ferus variant.

If you breed a primal male and female will the cubs have a higher chance of being primals?
