So I was thinking, if I'm correct you can only get a Hybrid (Leopon and Tigon) through breeding items? In a biological standpoint, it doesn't make sense, so I thought of a new second way to get them! There's a chance when you send your lionesses out hunting it'll say " [lionesses name] came back pregnant! you should nest her soon!" or something along those lines. Now, most of the time it'll be just a wandering male ( or maybe a submale patrolling from a nearby territory, that would be cool, but its up to the game developers ). But on a very low chance, it'll be a lone Leopard or Tiger (each would depend on the location of your territory)! If this did happen it would be easier for poor or newer players to grind for Hybrids! But to make it fairer to the people who might worry about their worth on the TC here's some other factors: ~ Only lionesses level 10 and above could get the message ~ If your territory place isn't that of a Tiger's or Leopard's habitat then it also cancels out the chance to get them I might add some more things later since I just thought of this, but maybe some feedback will be cool! ![]() |

I think that's a cool idea!! To add to it, maybe only have it happen if you send a lioness in heat out on a hunt. that way its a little more realistic, and the players have the ability to avoid these encounters by not sending any out in heat. Encountering a sub male lion from another player's account would be pretty fun!! It would give purpose to actually want to keep extra males in your pride. I don't like the territory idea so much, but i do agree there does need to be a clear purpose for what different territories do. Edit: I love the idea of the low chance of a lioness coming back pregnant. I feel the idea would have been really great if they used it as one of the only ways/main way to get a hybrid. However it isn't how the game was coded. I still feel the idea of a lioness getting pregnant to another account's submale would be really interesting. ![]() Edited on 27/11/22 @ 05:31:38 by GreyDream (#368859) |

No support, sorry. The entire point of hybrids are that they're rare, expensive and hard to get. Lionesses being above level 10 and territory are basically pointless, since my ncl hunters all reached level 10 in less than a week and you can just change your territory. I don't think it needs to be any easier to get hybrids, and there's no reason to ease the grind for new or poor players. I got three hybrids through trading after grinding for crunchies in October and have nine total right now. I know people have used 1000+ crbs without getting a single first gen. Increasing the odds of getting first gens through hunting is just an insult to the people who work hard for their hybrids. ![]() Edited on 27/11/22 @ 05:09:29 by potato | G2 1k+ Divine Natural (#152201) |

I completely support! Just because its extremely difficult for older players doesn't mean everyone has to suffer Plus, I think that'd be a really fun component to the game! ![]() |

you can also get hybrids by breeding to hybrid or trading items for one u don't always have to use breeding items to get a hybrid, I do think this would be a good feature but the chance of it happening has to be low as if you were to get a g1 hybrid , plus that also means players will be getting g1 hybrids if this feature was to happen ![]() |

and g1 hybrids are very rare to get through random breeding which would mean g1 hybrids would be common-ish ![]() |

I don't support even though I am a new and broke irl :) however, new ways to get hybrids would be nice. They could simply add an item like they have for primals. They could make it event specific and expensive. I don't think having an everyday occurrence that could get you a hybrid is a good idea. With 200,000 players on regularly, hybrids would be everywhere. The best idea I can think of, that wouldn't impact hybrid breeding as much as hybrid demand, would be a Mutie On Demand that has 0% of passing. Its 100% a display item. But this heavily effects the demand of frozen hybrids, which I think are still a cool collectable to have. I think either way it will upset older players. I think this game is extremely grindy and full of rng, I would love an idea to make things easier in other ways that still require effort. Sending a lioness hunting requires very little effort. ![]() Edited on 05/01/25 @ 01:06:12 by π πΏ ~ Fish (#461999) |

I can understand why people don't like this/don't support it and I understand their points, but I'm torn because I really enjoy this from a lore/roleplay perspective. This makes wayyy more sense than using items like GMO cows to obtain a G1 hybrid. I wish this idea had been brought up ages ago so instead of including hybrids in GMO cow's rolls the devs had made an item to give to your lionesses to boost your chances through this mechanic. But alas GMO cows are the easiest way to spawn a G1 hybrid and that's probably not going to change. In a lion market that is increasingly going to crap, hybrids are one of the few mutations out there that are mostly retaining their rarity & high value and I worry that adding a mechanic like this would erode that. Which sucks because this is such a cool idea!! ![]() |
