Hey, I'm Vilkas. I use any pronouns, though mostly just stick to they/them. Just so things are easier, here's a bunch of rules I go by and some of my preferences for roleplaying first. 1) My writing style is more descriptive, so I tend to do lit to novella depending on my mood. I like having something interesting to work with, so I'd work well with anyone that likes going in depth into worldbuilding, backstory and/or character thoughts. 2) Have good/decent grammar. No one liners, asterisks or scripts please. Preferably descriptive (more on the literate side). I'm not saying you aren't allowed to have spelling mistakes and stuff like that, that's okay. 3) FxF pairings only (NBxF is fine), I don't do MxF or MxM. Also I don't do fandom rps, so no CanonxCanon or OCxCanon (OCxCanon would technically be fine if you wanted to use a canon character and I used an oc, but it really depends on what kind of roleplay it is). I can't really get into the head of a character that isn't mine. I'm not confident in doubling up either. If you really want to do an rp within the world of a certain fandom or have a similar dynamic as a specific ship, then sure, we can do that. Just ask me about it. 4) Nothing too NSFW. Occasional explicit scenes allowed (18+ only, I mean it), it's not something I'm up for that often and it depends on the plot most of the time. Otherwise, it's usually just fade to black and tension. Dirty humour is fine, though I will avoid that with anyone under the age of 18. 5) I would prefer to rp with people who are 18+, as I am an adult. This is non-negotiable. 6) While I don't mind storylines in darker settings, I want to stay far away from r*pe, inc*st, p*dophilia and other such topics. That is where I draw the line. Darker backstories are okay so long as they aren't overly explicit about it. 7) I'm fine with realistic faceclaims (though I won't use them myself) and most art faceclaims. The art ones are easier to find for me and I have a preference for them (I mostly use artbreeder nowadays). Also doing just descriptions is fine too. 7b) No anime faceclaims, I will be put off by them. I always tend to have bad rp experiences when anime faceclaims are involved so I'm avoiding them for now. Manga faceclaims would be included in this rule as they are quite similar to anime faceclaims. 8) I don't mind what the setting is, but I do love more fantasy or futuristic ones and plain modern ones are harder for me to get into. 9) I like characters that don't get along in the beginning, it's more fun for me. Also I can't get invested in a pre-established romantic relationship - unless it's like friends or exes that lost touch, rivals/friends to enemies is fine. Obviously some fluff is also nice. 9b) Please don't have characters that are too childish, I personally am not too fond of them. This includes side characters, I've had very annoying experiences when a child (or just childish) character is introduced and is a constant presence in the rp. Overly shy, soft "uwu" characters apply to this as well, they're just not my thing. The same goes for very passive characters that don't do anything interesting plot wise unless pushed by my oc/side character I write for. 10) Ability to play side characters is a must ! Most plots I tend to do have side characters and it is exhausting playing them myself along with my oc for that rp. 11) I will aim to respond at least once a week/once every two weeks if I'm busier and if I can't do that for whatever reason, I will tell you (message me if I don't as I am awful at keeping track of time). Try to match this if you can. Also if you lose interest in a storyline, you can ask to do another instead (or to just drop it, if that's what you want to do). 12) I'll admit straight away that I'm not fond of rping on lioden. I find it harder to write up replies on here and keep up with roleplays. I am more likely to reply more often on discord, so I'll only rp on there for the time being. 13) I tend to only do long term roleplays, with a good bit of plotting involved. So if you have any plot/scene ideas, feel free to share them. In fact, contributing your own ideas and plotting is another must, I don't want to be the only one coming up with plot/story stuff (it's getting exhausting tbh, being the only one suggesting ideas for the plot, lore etc - I will ghost if I feel there's a lack in effort, you have been warned). Other than that, I enjoy making memes, aesthetics and character playlists. That's pretty much it for the rules I have. You're welcome to ask any questions if you have them. Here's some fandoms I like in case you want to have an idea of what I'm more likely to rp: > Games - Fallen Hero: Rebirth/Retribution, Wayhaven Chronicles (recently got into these so I'm extra open to plots based around these, also open to hearing any recommendations for similar games), The Superlatives (Need to revisit this one as I don't remember much), Skyrim, Fallout, Dishonored, Cyberpunk 2077. > Books/Graphic Novels - Gideon The Ninth, The Midnight Lie, Isola, Wings of Fire, Ice Massacre > Shows/Movies - Arrival, Annihilation, Alien, An American Werewolf in London, Cloverfield, Nope, Arcane (And there's more I can thing of right now, so feel free to ask) 0 players like this post!
