You need to upload your image to a hosting site like Imgur for example. once you have it uploaded you need a image URL. To get the image URL you need to do a few extra steps. Here is a detailed explanation.

This is a normal Page URL, "https://imgur.com/a/p6zBAU9" This is the URL you would use to make clickable links.
A Image URL looks like this, "https://i.imgur.com/SX5SU9e.png" They usually end with .png or .jpeg, depending on which you save the image as.

If you upload to a site like imgur you can right click the image and click "Open in New Tab" and it will take you to a new tab where it is just the image. you can copy and paste that URL. If you are on mobile then you should be able to tap and hold and click "Open in New Tab" (or "Open in New Tab Group" does the same thing, just opens it in a group like tab) If you upload to discord you can click to image to view it then click 'Open Original" If you are in mobile you might need to click the square with the arrow in it and then the kebab menu (its the 3 dots on top of each other) in the right hand corner, then click Open in (whatever browser you use) and you can grab that link.

Now this is how you would use that link. The code would be <*img src="URL"> and you would remove the asterisk(*) and replace the URL with the Image URL.

You can resize the image by using <*img src="URL" width=# height=#> I usually just use width because the height will adjust automatically. You can add px after the number but it doesnt make much of a difference.
Example with the image above being width 300.

The image will be the same size if downloaded or opened in a new tab, just resized for cosmetic purposes.

You can make links clickable by putting the clickable link around it btw. The clickable link would be <*a href="LINK">content<*/a> Content could be the image code above or words, and they would be clickable once posted. The link is any normal link that will redirect to a new page.
