I tried patrolling my adolescent male for the first time, and when I do it says that "This isn't your lion, this lion has died, or this lion has the blind, deaf or toothless mutation. If you recently sold this lion or chased it away and were setting up an area to patrol with it, the patrolling area should be cleared now. Any cooldowns still apply." I check him for any mutations, and it says that he is healthy.
