Welcome to the Biographies, stories, pasts and lore of the Frozenheart Pride. This thread is purely being created so I can encourage my own creative writing and as a way to show how much I enjoy this game. I have come to really enjoy creating my own theories, stories and plots regarding my lions and the many encounters within the world of Lioden. Thus I have decided to capture it all in writing. Please Note: These stories contain depictions that may be disturbing to some readers. This includes depiction of death, horror-like appearances and gore. Read at own Risk! I will not be putting a lot of time into this, as it will only be used to pass time. Meaning that updates will be slow and progress will take time. In the meantime, I've also decided to use this as my own checklist for personal accomplishments regarding Lioden: 0 players like this post! Like? The Legend of the Skull and the FourThere is an old legend among Lions that has been told throughout generations. The Legend goes like this: Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a King who had it all. He had a wide land of territory, all the females he could ask for, wealth unlike any lion and respect from all over the land ~ even from Humans. Not only did he have unmeasurable power, he was also an excellent ruler ~ wise, strong and brave. But he wanted more. Greed began to give him restless nights as he paced around for hours, thinking of what he could possibly gain that no one else has. After several nights without sleep, he consulted with the Deities of Life and Death, asking them for Eternal Life and the Death of all those who oppose him. After much hesitation, the Deities gave the King a Skull of an Ancient Lion and told him to journey to the Forest of Four. After a long and tiresome journey, The King arrived at the Forest of Four where four magical Lionesses welcomed the tired King, revealing to him great spells and wonderful sights. But he had no interest in any of that. Without even a drop of rest, he asked them for Eternal Life and the Death of all those who oppose him, and gave them the skull that was gifted to him by the Deities. The Four imbued the ancient skull with great magic, granting the King his wish. They gave to him the life of thousands and told him that any that oppose him, will add to his years ~ as long as he is strong enough to defeat them. The Four sent him back to his Prideland with the Skull, but left him with a warning: “If the skull falls in the possession of any other besides him, he would lose his physical form and forever live in this world as a Spectral Spirit.” The King journeyed back to his domain, but upon arriving home, everything and everyone he knew... was gone. On top of his throne stood a large lion, radiating with Evil and Malice, its body shrouded in rags and chains, its scent the vulgar smell of blood and brimstone. It was almost not even lion-like. The King that once had it all, now had nothing. Exhausted from the journey and far too tired to defend himself, he instead cowered at the paws of the Evil Lion, bowing in defeat and fear. But the Evil Lion had no interest in taking prisoners… With one powerful swing of a large paw, he killed the King and claimed ownership over the land that the King once owned along with all the riches, females and even power. Instead of respect however, he ruled with fear and hatred as he trampled on any that proved unworthy in his presence. Today the Skull of Eternal Life lies hidden somewhere among the old King’s domain, but no one knows where, nor if anyone had claimed ownership over its powers. The Forest of Four had since been burnt to the ground by Humans and the Four have never been seen again. As for the Deity of Life and Death, they speak not of the events that had taken place, nor where the Power of the Skull is hidden today. With such little knowledge, many had started to assume that the Skull and the Four were merely fantasy, a story told by those with wishes of eternal life and everlasting power. There are, however, quite a few that still hold onto the hopes and dreams of the Skull being real, as they had begun to set out on journeys to find the Skull and the Four. Perhaps one day someone worthy may find it, but until then, its existence will carry on through its Legend. . . 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 21/05/24 @ 05:07:42 by shAdy z!x (#218909) |

Titles and PositionsKing: The King of the Pride is the one that rules over the entire pride. It is the King's duty to protect the Pride and make sure they stay within the Pride rules and are well fed and have what they need. Ancients: The Ancients of the Pride are a small group or circle of mysterious lions. They have been with the Pride since the very beginning, but somehow remain young and beautiful and undying. They help the King rule over the Pride. Queen: Just like the King, there is a Queen. She stands by the King and does all he asks, but has just as much ruling over the Pride as he does. She often helps enforce the rules and it is her duty to make sure everything goes as planned. Mane: The Mane of the pride is responsible for judging newcomers and cubs and putting them through tests to see if they are worthy. The Mane does this in place of the King as the King has more pressing matters to attend to, so the Mane must know exactly what the King wants. It is also the Mane's duty to protect the Pride when the King rests. (It is not main as "the main lion". It is Mane as the Lion's Mane.) Chieftess: The lead of the Hunt is the Chieftess. She must take the Huntresses into the wild and keep them safe while at the same time directing the hunt. She is also responsible for teaching young Adolescent Females how to hunt and the rules of the Pride. The Chieftess is also the strongest Lioness in the Pride. Concubines: This is a group of lionesses that live by the King's side with no responsibilities besides fertility. These lions are of the Purest Bloodlines and do not mix with just any lion. They must always look their best and purest for their King and do only as he says. They do not hunt, care for cubs, or even converse with the rest of the pride, besides the Ancients. Broodmothers: The Broodmothers take care of the entire Pride's Cubs while their parents are out hunting or busy with other duties. They raise them, care for them and feed them. If any of the cubs under their care come in harm's way, it could mean serious trouble for the Broodmother, as it is their duty to protect the defenseless cubs of the Pride. Huntresses: All the rest of the Lions in the Pride are Huntresses. They usually travel in groups with the Chieftess leading them into the hunting Grounds, where they must follow her lead and hunt enough food for the whole pride. Those that don't go hunting, normally stay in the territory and simply go on with their days. Grandpaw: The Grandpaw is the Oldest lion in the Pride. He has no responsibilities and can just do as he pleases, as long as its within the Pride's Rules. This lion used to be the King of the Pride before handing the duties over to a new and worthy male. The Grandpaw loves to tell stories of the days he ruled to the Females and Cubs of the Pride. Treasurer: There is only one Treasurer and that being is entirely responsible for keeping track of all the income and currency of the Pride. It is also the Treasurer's job to bring in some extra income for the King. The Treasurer must keep all forms of currency safe and must keep track of how much comes in, and how much is spent. 0 players like this post! Like? CharactersThis will be redone soon
Chiwa started showing amazing progress in strength as an Adolescent male. His size grew rapidly along with his fangs and his fur length. Before Akuma knew it, Chiwa had doubled in size and easily towered over all the other pride members, including Akuma himself. The young male took on anyone in a fight, no matter their status, and very seldom lost. As Akuma started to slow down and reach the end of his days, he knew it was time to announce a Heir. He had many children of his own worthy of the title of King. But even so, there was no mistaking it or second guessing. Chiwa was the strongest and most likely to keep the Pride safe for many more years to come. As such, he crowned Chiwa as the new King. Chiwa took on his new responsibility with courage and pride. His paws were massive and capable of crushing the skulls of his enemies. He may not be the fastest lion, but his strength outmatches most other opponents. He may lack the Wisdom for the correct choices, but with his Circle of Queens by his side, the Pride is flourishing and well taken care of. He is mischievous and likes to play tricks on other lions and cause trouble where he can. He enjoys flaunting his size by pushing out his chest for all to see while displaying his deadly claws along with a mischievous grin. Chiwa has developed a rather strange and unusual appetite. With the secret craving of the flesh of other lions, he tends to claim lone lionesses and later on use them for a meal. During one of these cruel events, the terrified female accused Chiwa of having a heart as cold as ice. He felt the title fit perfectly, as he does not care about anyone other than his own pride. He took this opportunity to rename the Blood Pride, to the Frozenheart Pride. 0 players like this post! Like? |
