I was more or less wondering if this was allowed, because I didnt see anything on it. I'm helping people with CSS on the side and a user asked if a Den Commentary box was possible/allowed. I know it's possible, I've seen it on an admin's den - it's just a question on if it's allowed for regular users. They also have various animated elements that scroll across the screen, and after some inspection it looks like it needs JS, which I don't know if we can use either. The user I've been helping believes that the admin is an exception to this because they're a site coder. Unfortunately, anything powered by JavaScript is unavailable for use on player pages due to security precautions. In this case, the chat and the lions at the bottom would be impossible for regular players. :( The animated train, airship, and TARDIS are possible without JS, though. 0 players like this post! I don't think animated elements need js.. if you take a look at my page i have a tardis flying about :) but i'm not sure if this is allowed- or even how you'd do it. if you figure it out lmk! 0 players like this post! Like? |
