Decided to try making some piebald suggestions! my other designs will be linked below, in case you'd like to see others! ^^ Snowflake Piebald Variegated Piebald Skulk/Vulpes Piebald Stain Patch wip Lunar Piebald wip + more? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roan piebald! Not sure if it's an issue that there a marking called roan already, but totally up to alternate names! ^^ This kind of pattern doesn't exactly exist in real life as far as a know, and simply combines the scattered white spotting seen in roan on horses or dogs, and adds more solid white chunks and missing chunks  Image found on Google, click image to see owner  Blank Example  Colored Example Any and all constructive criticism is greatly encouraged!  |

I'm not sure about dogs, but in horses, the roan coloration is actually just a mixture of two hair colors. The white hair (that makes up the color of the roan) grows in everywhere except for the legs below the knee, the entire face and the mane and tail. This is an important distinction, to tell a "true roan" from other color types. If you keep the design as is, it doesn't look like roan coloration at all. It might need to be renamed as something else, because technically it is not roan.  0 players like this post! Like? |
