I’m a big fan of our felis and ferus mutations! But I want to introduce a new idea! There is a prehistoric big cat called lokotunjailurus. lokotunjailurus Is about the same size of todays lionesses. It had a smaller build , graceful long legs. The things that I would like to see that are accurate to the description of this animal is its large dewclaws! If you don’t know what a dewclaw is it’s basically a cat thumb. Once I get some sketches posted I’ll show close ups of the paws. For the teeth they are about the same size of a felis but a little bit longer. The tail of lokotunjailurus is half sized stopping where their upper ankle joint is. The head is a bit bulky get slim but their necks are a bit long. Posing this lion in game I would say should be a prowling stance or a sitting stance! -whole body- -Head- -paws- |

What does it bring to the game other than being visually different? I ask because the reason we don't get new mutations or even male poses at the moment is that there are thousands of markings as it is, when they do a new pose or mutation they have to redraw and recolour each marking, base, eyes, etc. The art team is quite swamped as it is, so I'm a bit on the fence about adding more "visual only" mutations. 0 players like this post! In game effects would be more successful hunting for females! Their larger dewclaw allowed them to easily drag down large prey so you’d get more buffalo, elephant, giraffe (ect). I’d also like for this mutation to pass down only felis too as they look similar. Another cool concept would be a female only mutation which I do believe isn’t in the game yet (other than DU). 0 players like this post! Like? I still can't support something as simple as that; well-trained/regularly hunted lionesses are able to bring those back quite regularly. And if you make this primal have special traits; you'd need to do the same to all the others. What would make Felis, Smilus, Ferus and Primal special? Would you nerf the pass rate them down too? I mean, most lions with "special traits" don't pass them without a lion scrotum; why would the primals? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I understand that, and again this is just a suggestion! And no just because this primal would be different/have special traits doesn’t mean it has to affect the other primals at all. The lokotunjailurus would have same passing rate as other primals nothing insane like hybrids, dwarves, and other muties you’d have to use a lion scrotum. In game you can use breeding items to help get the mutation such as pennyroyal but best was is mass breeding to a lokotunjailurus. And again it’s just a trait they have even though you can get bigger prey with well trained hunters the mutie I suggested will have higher chances to bring home a better kill compared to a regular lioness. I don’t see how the other primals would have to have special traits. The point of the suggestion is to have a primal that has special traits, to make this mutie more than just a primal variant. The smilus has the special trait of only being male. ferus, felis, and regular primal have no special thing about them so then again how would the other primals need to have a special trait. The whole point of this variant is to have a primal with more meaning rather than just getting a new design. You said you don’t want just visual and I was planning on giving more special trained based on the real animal by doing extensive research on them and finding cool special traits to do. I gave you smaller ideas I had and you’re still unhappy with what I have to say. All in all if you don’t support it just don’t support it. Dont argue with me or try to change my mind. The point of a suggestion is for it to be a creative idea to add more fun to the game add more differences. Many other people didn’t support other mutations that we have now so arguing won’t get you anywhere. Plus this idea I just had and AGAIN I’m going to do more research and think more upon this primal variant 0 players like this post! Like? |

I am trying to understand why you're wanting this and why. This has a lot of potential, but I'm not going to be the only one with these questions. This would possibly provide an opportunity to completely overhaul Primals for the better but instead you think I am attacking your idea instead of trying to try and help you increase its depth and potential. This idea could have given primals worth and value again, instead of just being 200sb in the TC. I'll unsubscribe now, I'm sorry you feel as you do. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I do feel attacked by the way you word your words. You could’ve suggested and kindly placed words. Im aware this has potential and I’m not trying to get an overhaul of primals. I wanted to have a spin off on a primal variant. I’m more than happy to answer question but this ideas as of now is a rough outliner of what I have to add later on. I wanted a female exclusive primal with purpose, such as the smilus has male only, this would be female only and have special traits as the hunting. I’m also not saying you should unsubscribe I’m just saying this is a rough draft of the idea, I haven’t yet gotten to all of it and I do plan on putting out more ideas later on. This isn’t just a visual effect and it isn’t going to be a difficult mutation. Just a more useful primal I apologize for misunderstanding you, if you’d like to talk more by PM and help me with ideas I’m more than greatful for that 0 players like this post! Like? |

If you post a suggestion, youre going to get people attempting to understand what your trying to add, give counterpoints on why they dont believe it should be added or give you ideas on what to make the suggested thing added to your suggestion, which is what the team also do when theyre thinking of adding something/something gets really popular here. Thats the whole point of this forum, to bounce off ideas with each other and get criticism on ideas. I agree with Tae regarding the fact that a fully trained lioness thats constantly being leveled up is doing the same thing as what this mutation is suggesting. Females also have the mane mutations, so it wouldnt be the only other mutation for lionesses. People are allowed to speak their opinion and thoughts on why they're uphappy/upset/dislike an idea, it helps both poster, users and staff members understand clearer. I do not see any arguments here from Tae's side, just a peaceful discussion on what would make this mutation different, all I see is your comments being rather aggressive, which may not have been intended, on valid concerns regarding this mutation. Personally, while i love primal mutations, I cannot support this at this present time due to the fact that Felis and this one you claim will look the same, and the proposed addition would not make sense compared to the current hunting rates. 0 players like this post! I understand that! I have messaged tae and apologized and I will be taking criticism with a grain of salt and use it as an advantage! Aggression was not intended at all. As for me saying felis and lokotunjailurus look similar I’m referring to the actual animals appearance to felis. Just a small idea I’m thinking of. I’m still trying to get more ideas and fun things to add that would make this more relevant and give it more purpose to potentially add to the game :) 0 players like this post! Like? |
