I’ve been playing for about a month just trying to figure things out solo but am struggling to earn enough SB consistently to save and buy a male slot, territory, etc. What are good ways to earn SB? Also, I’m trying to get a better looking male since I don’t think I’ll be able to get enough GB to customize mine (I’m playing with my starter lion I rolled at sign-up), what is the best way to breed an heir or how do I know it’s a good one? I am starting to get stats so assume if I have a better heir I could play the game better? Just want to get prettier lions and also figure out how to claim lionesses better because I appear to be smelly or something! Any help is appreciated thank you! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hello there! :D For basic territory slots, I'd actually recommend not buying them with silver beetles. You can get up to 40 free territory slots by battling other players! This wiki page section has a bit more info + screenshots on how to go about battling for territory :) - link! For male slots, you only really need two as only one submale can go out patrolling at a time. The other slot is generally reserved for people stat-training an heir. Of course, you can have as many as you want if you can afford it- but practically you only need 1-2. There are many little ways to earn silver beetles! Always make sure you've sent lionesses out hunting- preferably 5 each time- to the marshland tiles, as they have a decent chance at bringing back higher value and higher use prey (such as giraffes and elephant calves). As you seem to only be playing on mobile I'll link an image guide that states which tiles are marshland tiles - link! In any other month, you could sell 100 uses of food at the trade centre for 1000 silver beetles or 1 gold beetle (10 silver beetles per food use). You'd have trouble finding buyers during January however, because of the food pit feature which basically is free food. It's a good thing to keep in mind for future months though! For now, just sell all your food at the monkey business. It's much cheaper than selling it to other players unfortunately, but it's instant income. Alongside that, be sure to sell any items that you don't need to use (some items you may want to use for crafting, feeding beetles, increasing the mood of your lionesses, etc) to the monkey business as well. For other ways to get silver beetles, you can play some of the -minigames! If you get every question right on the difficult setting on lioden trivia, you'll get 60 sb (20 sb per each correct question)! Here's the lioden wiki page with all the trivia answers, though it may be a pain to scroll through aha - link. Another minigame you can play is serengeti shuffle. You can get some pretty good prizes if you score well, though you can only send a score once per day. I'd recommend trying to get a score between 3500-4449 as it has the most expensive pool of prizes, some of which you can sell for gold beetles! You also have the option to win 400 silver beetles outright. If you have the time, look through the prize pool wiki page to see what scores would be best for you to aim for ^^ - link. If you're interested in getting stats you can also play the baoball minigame daily. Stats are important to some people, but they don't matter too much. I'm not that experienced with heir breeding as I'm still playing with my rolled king too actually! You don't necessarily need gold beetles to customise your king to make them look better, as you can try to use marking applicators from events or from crafting. What I do know is that it's a popular selling point for people to have kings (and thus heirs) that are not inbred (or 'clean' vs 'dirty' bred lines), as well being low-generation lions in general. You may want to make another forum thread here asking people on how to breed/get a good quality heir ^^ To get prettier lions in explore (and thus for free) you'll need to increase your impression level a lot. I'd recommend looking at this claiming guide and taking screenshots of the claiming steps for each personality type as you can't access other lioden pages when on the claiming a lioness screen! These steps aren't always guaranteed to work, but they'll help you understand which moves are more likely to work At a certain impression level ('average' impression) you'll have a chance to find lionesses in explore that have actually been chased by other players, which may have better stats, markings, and bases and have had their heritage wiped, making them clean and not inbred! These lionesses are good for potentially breeding better cubs and/or an heir, or for reselling to other players to get some extra silver beetles. At dreamboat (highest impression level), you may also have a chance to find a lioness with a miscarriage effect induced on them, which you can sell for 1-2 at the trade centre to other players. Basically, just try claiming as many lionesses as you can to boost your impression level and to find lionesses that you may want to keep or sell to other players! I may have written a little too much hehe but I hope this helped you more than overwhelmed you! :') I'd also be happy to try and answer any other questions you may have <3 0 players like this post!
