Hi! If I am doing this wrong, please let me know. Now, to the point.

BEETLE FLAVOR TEXT
Sometimes, when you land on a lion page, you get a flavor text. I love these little interactions and my idea was to add that one for the beetles too. Some examples include, but are not limited to;
''When you went looking for [Larvae] in their mound today, you nearly had a heart attack. Huh? But it needs to be fed, it can't survive on its own! Oh... You find it back with [Cub] who is staring at the wriggling thing with a glint of obsession in their eyes. Questioning does not work much as [Cub] is preoccupied. But the larvae has already been fed, and [Cub] promises to be careful and gentle. Looks like you're not the only beetle lover in this pride!'' (You can only get this if you have a cub in your pride and the cub needs to have a good personality OR neutral)
''[Beetle] somehow looks sad. Is it still bothered by the battle it lost? You decide to feed it an extra herb to cheer it up.'' (After losing a battle)
''Today, [Beetle] somehow looks very angry. Did it just get attacked by another beetle?'' (After being attacked by another player's beetle)
''[Beetle] looks extra pumped and happy today! Off to battle!'' (No in game effects to battling, just that it's pumped to battle)
''[Beetle] looks kinda tired... Maybe you should let it rest?/You decide to give it a nice beetle spa day, feeding it some extra herbs and allowing it to rest. Enjoy your well deserved break, little guy!'' (Perhaps after doing a few battles?)
''You find [Beetle] looking particularly smug today. You find out why when you encounter the cubs putting up a fan club in their name. Aww!'' (You need to have AT LEAST two cubs for this)
''Looks like [Beetle/Larvae] startled a newborn cub, who is now crying out loud whilst the mom glares at you trying to calm them. Uhm. Oops... Sorry?'' (Need to have a newborn cub)
''[Cub] seems to be scared of [Beetle/Larvae]. You show them there is nothing to be afraid of. They may look a little scary, but they won't hurt you!''

For the lion's page when you go to a cub; ''[Cub1] is discussing with their friends who their favorite beetle is. Obviously it's [Beetle] but everyone has a different opinion. It's turning a little heated in here...'' (Potential note about how your Lead or another Lion calms it down, saying it's okay to have other opinions?)

Also, it seems fun to me to have potentially other lions caring for the beetles in flavor text. Such as a beetle hanging out with one of your lionesses when you go to her page, or the other way around. Perhaps your lioness teases you over being the favorite or your lion feels underappreciated? There's so much potential!

An extra idea is if you have any lions with evil personalities...
''You lost [Beetle] today, only to find it with [Cub] who was pawing at it... You gave them a good scolding and they just thought it was funny. You catch them laughing about it...''
''You caught [Lion] trying to take [Larvae/Beetle] out of their mound. Upon asking why, they tell you they just wanted a nice snack. ... Uhm, not going to happen! Eventually, you manage to get them to put it back, though they walk off mumbling under their breath and are in a particularly bad mood the rest of he day with the occasional glare your way.''
Obviously your beetles will not die from evil lions (unless something gets added to the game, but I think that would require a setting whether that player would allow the beetles to die by lion's hand or not. Whether it's an accident with an excited cub, a beetle going missing and a lion licking their lips..).

Battle interactions could also be a thing, perhaps? This would be on the beetle battle page, and maybe a cub or lion (or your own lion) or beetle comes to cheer them on? Or, in a meaner way, boo at them?


CONCLUSION
You guys, I have so so so SOOO much more ideas about beetles but I decided that this would be all that I wrote to get the post to the point :)
I would LOVE to hear feedback and opinions :D (but please be kind ^^) I love beetles so I have a lot of ideas, but most are probably unrealistic and too difficult to get in the game, or wouldn't make sense/break the game. Nonetheless, here's my first idea :D
