Drataurs are a space faring species that bounce planet from planet throughout the solar system. Although they have a home planet of their own they are an incredibly curious species and love to learn about every planet they visit, often taking home certain plants or animals they find particularly interesting. Their tendency to explore planets has earned them the galaxy wide nickname of ‘space tourists’. As well as being space tourists, they love to bring things from other planets to show the inhabitants of befriended species and are always more than happy to share whatever they may have brought. While most will return home or continue their travels some will stay on the planet they stopped at to live among the inhabitants and learn more about them and the culture.
Their smaller secondary eyes see in thermal to help with hunting and they have extraordinary directional skills, always knowing which way is ‘up’ on a planet. They are also able to quickly adjust to different atmospheres, gravities, and even a lack or total loss of oxygen, with very few planets being too extreme for them to survive on. Oftentimes merchant ships bounce planet to planet and stay to sell or trade goods before moving on. Like dragons they enjoy collecting things and generally like to have a collection of similar objects from all sorts of planets.

This time they’ve decided to stop on Earth, and quite a few seem to want to stay, though they’ll need a companion to teach them about the planet. Will you try to befriend one?
