"We.. we can't just stand StormClan up." The feline responded hoarsely, her tail flicking. "I .. I really, really do want to get out of here, but if we choose to just leave last minute, they'll think something is wrong." Alstroemeriastride murmured, scooting closer toward her amour. "I don't want to make myself appear as melodramatic in front of them, even.. even if I already am."

Dovekit

The tiny, diluted calico she-kit gazed up at her mother and gave her a pathetic look, her small ears flattening against the sides of her rounded head. Dovekit didn't want to try walking. What if she toppled over and hurt herself? That wouldn't be fun for neither her nor her mother. Knowing that her mother would continue to urge her to at least try, Dovekit reluctantly forced herself to try.

Cautiously, the shorthaired kitten slid one paw forward, followed by her opposite front paw, and shortly thereafter, her two hind ones. Her thin legs wobbled violently as Dovekit continued to take tiny, leisure steps forward, before her legs eventually buckled and she collapsed onto the ground. Surprisingly, Dove somehow managed to walk nearly four steps away from the safety of her mother's warm and long coat.

Dovekit felt too lazy to hoist herself back up to her full height and try again, so instead she rolled herself onto her back and exposed her dappled underbelly. Hearing her sister's mews, she turned her head to the side and exchanged a low purr in response to Hollykit.
