I agree with Stardust. Even with a chance that small or lower, it could cause users to mass-breed and clog the servers with 'fail' cubs, trying to get a breedable look-alike from their dynasty (especially if that lion/lioness would be incredibly valuable).
If you want a cub that looks like a lion/lioness you're attached to, I'd recommend breeding them and their cubs as a breeding project to preserve their looks, which can be made easier by items already in game.
If you want a lion back from your dynasty, the canopic jar is an option.

Guys I believe you are mistaken -- they aren't saying the stats will be passed on from one lioness, they might have said JUST the appearance.

This seems too op. There are lions in the game with combo bases, and very rare traits. This could potentially make those very rare traits, and bases more common, and cost less. Also, mutations don’t count as an aspect of appearance, so it won’t be able to copy mutations.

Readytest, by RLC, they mean raffle lionesses- to put it simply, people with very expensive, already claimed (but deceased) raffle lionesses may decide to mass-breed their lions, overloading the servers, in hopes to get a perfect clone of that very expensive lion they won but have since stored in their dynasty.

This would have a profound effect on Lioden's servers as people mass-breed in hopes of gaining back specific lionesses, and on Lioden's economy as raffle lion clones pop up from completely random litters simply because the cubs born into that person's pride happen to have a raffle lioness in the dynasty.

The resulting mass-breeding to gain back specific expensive lionesses could potentially crash the servers, especially for those willing to pay for Y Barks to lower their lionesses' breeding cooldowns, zebra hearts to put them into heat instantly, and instant cub deliveries to generate as many cubs as possible in pursuit of their deceased lion.

To put it in simpler terms; People will mass-breed their lions to get back expensive lionesses that are in their dynasty, potentially overloading/crashing the servers and ruining Lioden's economy.
