Welcome! This is a private roleplay between Owl’Feather and I(Northe). If you would like to roleplay with us, you could join other things! Hope to see you there! Once I figure out what it is I'll put a link here, possibly the tribes! or Shattered skies! hey that rhymes Shattered Skies Main Guide! ————————————————————————— IntroductionThe five Clans of the forest have been at careful peace ever since The Storm. Now the threat grows from within as the cats get back to their normal lives. Border patrols are fighting, and the prey seems scarce, even in GreenLeaf. Will the cats unite under common goals, or will their differences be the thing to tear them apart? InformationSeason: Late GreenLeaf The prey should running well as all the trees are green and growing happily. The occasional rainstorm keeps the land green and thriving. Next Gathering: 3 Days The Gathering is coming up soon! Assignments on who can go are not out yet, but some warriors and many apprentices are hoping this might be their chance to go! Last Gathering Recap: Average Gathering. Not very high tensions, but some were disturbed by Wet'Pelt's death. Next Half Moon Meeting: 18 Days Not at all on the minds of the medicine cats, unless something has happened and they hope to meet with StarClan. Last Half Moon Meeting Recap: Silent'Ripple's first Half Moon Meeting without Wet'Pelt. He said as few words as possible. Weather: Heavy Cloud Cover Rain is very likely. The air is dense and the humidity is rising. It isn’t going to rain yet, but it will probably by the night. Current Time: Sunhigh The patrols should be on their way back, for a small time of relaxation for those on morning patrols, training for the apprentices, and preparation for another round of patrols. Recent Events: RainClan has a fight over MountainClan's and their borders. RainClan won, but their territory didn't expand, as they had been defending. Both Snake'Bite and Vine'Crawler were noted to be a powerful fighting force and took out the majority of Mountain Clan's warriors, though none were injured badly enough to be put out of commission, even for a day. The former CavernClan Medicine Cat, Wet'Pelt, died in a Rainstorm last moon. CavernClan now has a cat who is barely over the age of an apprentice healing the clan. Recap! —After Vine’Crawler and Snake’Bite finish their fight, a both hunting and border patrols are sent out. The hunting patrol, led by Snake’Bite, finds great success, despite Red’Splat’s distracted nature. The border patrol in the other hand, finds Proud’Scar alone, antagonizing two MountainClan cats on the border. The cats face off, the MountainClan cats outnumbered, but not standing down. Later, Snake’Bite and Shade’Feather arrive, having heard the commotion, leaving the rest of the hunting group to head back to camp. As Snake’Bite is conversing with the MountainClan cats, she is attacked by a MountainClan patrol, and a battle breaks out. With Snake’Bite immediately out, RainClan ends up retreating, but the battle cannot be considered a true victory, with no territory loss or gained, but also, the threat of RainClan’s anger. -Grey’Pelt has died. -Leaf'Star -RainForestClan Camp Leaf'Star yawned and stretched. She had been sleeping in the Leader's den, which was nestled in a hole high up in a tree. The Camp was situated high in the tree tops, where the vines and branches wove a sort of platform. Leaf'Star padded carefully out of the tree, and looked over the area. To an outsider, their camp seemed to have no organization. There were no obvious boundaries, or clear cut out dens, but to Leaf'Star, this was the only way to keep a camp. No invaders could ever find their camp, let alone navigate it. From where Leaf'Star sat in the mouth of the hole, none of her clanmates were visible. They were all hidden away, sleeping in either other tree-holes, or nets of vines and leaves woven over their heads to cover them from the weather, and camouflaged the area. She stepped out on the branch that extended from the hole, and she sat in the curve that served as the place for the leader to give announcements. She tilted her head up to see the pale morning light that dappled through the thick covering of leaves. Her tail swished back and forth as his hung down from the branch. Only a few feet below was the mass of branches that served as the main floor of the camp. In this Clan it was very important to keep eyes on the kits at all times. It was very rare for a kit to fall from the platform, or to eat some poisonous plant, but it wasn't impossible. Early in the morning was when Leaf'Star felt the most calm, most of the other cats were still safe, asleep in their dens, and this was also the time when Paradise'Star would teach her, and talk with her. His favorite time was in the early morning too. She felt the closest to him at this time. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite: - RainforestClan Camp ``The sunrays hit the she-cat's fur, slowly waking her up. Her muscles flexes under her pelt and her sight and ability to hear were taken for just a moment as she yawned and stretched. Snake'Bite shook her heade gently as to clear her mind and to prepare for the day, which apparently was going to be rather sunny again. Snake'Bite shouldn't complaine about the amazing weather, but for her perfect day, rain was a must. A dark sky and heavy clouds would give her the feeling of home. Most other cats despised the rain, which Snake'Bite could just shake her head to.`` ``As the gray-brownish cat walked out of the vine woven warrior den, which actually consisted of multiple smaller ones next to eachother, she gazed up at the sky, nearly flinching as her gaze hit the sun. She quickly looked back down as to not blind on the light rays. As Snake'Bite took a look over the well hidden camp, she noticed Leaf'Star, her leader, standing on the announcement branch. Snake'Bite looked around, it was clearly still early as not many cats were around and so after careful consideration the light spotted cat ran towards the thick tree trunk and climbed up to her leader by a few powerful jumps. When she reached the branch she sat down with a back as straight as a tree trunk itself and her eyes gazing forwards. A stern look was on her face.`` "Good morning Leaf'Star." ``The deputy was a cat of few words, although if in an argument the words would flood out without fear. With Leaf'Star though, she was more than comfortable, even if it didn't look like it, the other cat knew that this was the most open she would act with another clanmate.`` 0 players like this post! -Leaf'Star -RainClan Camp "Snake'Bite! Good Morning!" Leaf'Star purred as she watched her deputy climb up to the branch. "How are you? Are you feeling alright? Anything sore?" It had been plenty of time since RainClan's battle with MoutainClan, but Leaf'Star always wanted to make sure her deputy was in full health, she didn't know what she would do without her as back up. "It's a beautiful day today, isn't it?" She asked, tipping her head up again to let the sun wash over her face. A calm breeze was blowing through the camp, gently bouncing the vines and branches, ruffling the cats' fur. Her tail swung back and forth, and she looked calm and peaceful. If Leaf'Star could see her own face, she would laugh and say 'It's just calm before the storm.' As soon as the camp woke up, she would find herself full of worry over the patrols, hunting, the young apprentice's training, and the little kits who just wanted to play in the trees. She let out a sigh, and stood up. "Would you like something to eat?" She asked, about to hop down to the prey pile. She moved toward the trunk and in two swift bounds her paws landed lightly on the lower level of woven vines and branches that served as the main camp floor, and she lifted her head up to look at Snake'Bite. 0 players like this post! Snake'Bite: -RainClan Camp ``As the others happy words met her ears, they imidiateky perked up. Not a single word would be missed, she would hear everything, all the time. Even if Snake'Bite tried to ignore the words of kindness, she was glad that Leaf'Star cared deeply for her. Her grumpy or stern face couldn't stay on her muzzle as the tiniest smile framed.`` "I'm fine, thank you. You?" ``Her words sounded rejecting, although she didn't mean it in the kind of way. It just wasn't easy for her to express happiness or thankfulness towards others, hate and anger were much easier. As Leaf'Star began talking about the "beautiful day", the she cat just nodded along, although inside Snake'Bite cried at the thought of a sunny day bring nice weather. At least there were some breezes that could give her some shivers. She enjoyed the few quiet seconds before turning her head towards the leader. Pride filled her heart when she looked at her best friend, seeing her in the great position, but sorrow filled her that eventually she would die. Snake'Bite shook her head, everyone died and the leader had 9 lives, so she would be completely fine. Another question hit her ears.`` "Yes, preferably bush piglet" ``The eyes of the muscly cat pointed straight ahead as she answered and her voice was monotone. 4 words had been uttered, not many for other cats, but rather a good amount for her. As for her favourite piece of prey, it wasn't too hard to find as there were loads of mother bush pigs running around. They were a bit dangerous though and so you had to try to separate one piglet from the herd before hunting it down. As Jade'Star had jumped down the branch the other quickly followed suit, landing softly on her front paws.`` 0 players like this post! Like? |

-Leaf'Star -RainClan Camp "I'm glad to hear you're well, and I'm doing alright..." Her ears twitched as a sound floated from the nursery on the other side of camp. "I'm a little worried about the new kits," She admitted as she walked carefully across the branches to the hole that held their prey pile. She sunk her claws in a piglet and hauled it out, flinging it in Snake'Bite's direction. She pulled out a smaller lemur for herself and turned to face Snake'Bite. "New kit's always worry me, I feel like it'd be my fault if one of them happened to fall, I've considered moving the nursery to the ground floor for that reason, but I also feel it's safer for them up here, with the rest of us to protect them, and they need to learn to balance soon anyway. Yellow'Kit wasn't even born here and he caught on pretty quick, so I shouldn't worry right?" She mumbled through the thin tail of the prey. She dragged it to a sunny place where the vines were woven thick, where large leaves above also made a cooler, shady spot nearby as well. ((Bro, not me forgetting I need to re-study on what they might eat. I'm also gonna say IDC IF ITS SLIGHTLY UNREALISTIC THESE ARE TALKING CATS BRO)) -Vine'Crawler -RainClan Camp Vine'Crawler yawned and stretched out his front paws. He pushed himself to his feet, and strode out of the warrior's den, his tail held high. He glanced toward Leaf'Star and Snake'Bite with their prey, his expression filled with a haughty look. He walked over, and pushed past the two shes to grab himself one of the largest pieces of prey he could find. He pulled it out of the hole with his teeth, and tore a big chunk out, before giving a very small tip of his head to acknowledge the two higher level warriors. "Morning, Vine'Crawler..." Leaf'Star said. The tom could sense the slight amount of hesitation, and he nearly scoffed at her. "Hello my dear leader, tell me? Have I already missed the dawn patrol? Or did someone forget to wake them up" He smirked as he watched Leaf'Star seem to stutter. She glanced at Snake'Bite, then faced the warrior again. "It'd be good of you to remember your place Vine'Crawler." She said, still hesitant with her words. "It'd be good of someone to remember to send out patrols so we don't get killed by some rogue jaguar." He shot back. He glanced toward Snake'Bite, he knew full well it was the deputy's duty to send out patrols, but he wasn't quite in the mood to call her out. He was in the mood to mess with Leaf'Star though. "Maybe, if you would focus on your tasks, like your fighting skills, we wouldn't need to worry about jaguars. If only the warriors were strong enough." Leaf'Star said, lifting her head up. Vine'Crawler, lowered his. At least it was an attempt at an insult. Maybe it would have worked on some other, less skilled warrior, but Vine'Crawler would accept that... for now. (Um... idk? Help... how does this work..) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite: - RainClam Camp (prey pile) ``The strong cat sat bowed down, her whole body close to the ground as she ripped out a piece of delicious bushpiglet meat. The delicious treat buttered her throat and so she gulped down even more. With he way she was sitting, Snake'Bite made sure to be ready incase one of the vines or woven leaves gave out beneath her. It wasn't common but possible and so her tail hovered over the ground.`` "You shouldn't worry about the kits too much." ``8 words, quite much, almost astonishing for her. It must be Leaf'Star's company that made her into such a talker. She decided on being quiet after this huge amount of work she had done. That was until Vine'Crawler rudely pushed himself through the gap the two cats had between eachother, only to walk to the prey pile and choose the most enormous piece while he wasn't even extra ordinary big! Snake'Bite was furious, but kept her cool for Leaf'Star. This completely changed when he addressed her friend in an offensive matter. The brownish cat jumped onto her paws taking a defensive stance, her claws unleashing and her tail high.`` "Shut your muzzle VineCrawler! You should remember where you stand! You're name isn't 'crawler'without a reason!" ``her words flew through the air, an angry tone in her snarky voice. She was MAD and no one could calm her down now. How dare that rude piece of mouse dung even talk to her leader like that? And especially to her friend? She wouldn't let him get through this time.`` 0 players like this post! Like? |

-Vine’Crawler -RainClan Camp Vine’Crawler’s gaze swung toward Snake’Bite as a smile slowly took over his muzzle. Aha, he had triggered the trap. The fur on his neck lifted slightly, as it did when he was about to get into any fight. “Aha… now, I always thought I got my name from the crawling vines that you can never quite get rid of.” He lifted his muzzle up, with a smile as he looked down at Snake’Bite. “And if we’re now bringing in our names, I must remind you that snakes, your given name form birth, are the lowest of the low of all possible creatures. Sneaky little fellas slithering around the the undergrowth, only going for sneak attacks like the dishonorable critters they are.” His tail flicked side to side, and there was still the air of haughtiness about him, his smile being easily interpreted into how much he enjoyed tormenting other cats, but there was truly a small bit of him that just enjoyed finally being able to talk with this snappy she-cat. He always had a smile on, his demeanor almost light-hearted if it weren’t for the force of passion behind his every word. He also knew that eventually he would lose this fight to Snake’Bite, but he didn’t mind that either. Anything to just throw her off every now and again was good enough for him. Snake'Bite: - RainClan Camp (close to prey pile?) ``How dare this little brain-of-a-kit cat talk to her leader ans herself in this way? Snake'Bite was an honorable name, which she had been given after surviving just such as a kit! That should be enough to prove her willingness and strength?! Her legs flexed more almost ready to jump, but that was just what the other wanted and she would try her best to not give it to him, although this was near impossible at the level of anger in her. So she forced herself to draw in her claws and to stand in a more relax position, but her tail was still high.`` "Oh Vine'Crawler" ``The cat used her sweetest voice in the hope of confusing him. If it was possible for her to manipulate his mind, she'd finally have peace. Although she had to admit that he did bring her joy on boring days.`` "Do you really want to offend the leader and me? A good warrior wouldn't do so and you usually seem like one. At least your hunting skills are fine." ``Quite a lot of words, but this was fun for her. She absolutely loved the threat in his sweet words and really wanted to just wrap her tail around his neck and ...`` 0 players like this post! Like? |

-Leaf'Star -RainClan Camp: Near Prey Hole(?) Leaf'Star had been trying to figure out how to react to Vine'Crawler. Should she give him apprentice jobs? That would mainly hurt the clan as he was such a good warrior, and she had a feeling it wouldn't help. Should she confine him to have a cat watch over him constantly? No, that would drive whoever that was insane, and that wouldn't be good either. Then she heard the change in Snake'Bite's voice. She tried to not react much, but she tipped her head in her deputy's direction. Was that a genuine tone? Was there something between these two? No, of course not! Snake'Bite was merely trying to throw Vine'Crawler off, and it seemed to be working too. Leaf'Star continued eating, now satisfied that Snake'Bite would find the proper way to handle this situation. -Vine'Crawler -RainClan Camp:Near Prey Hole Vine'Crawler could almost feel the anger in the air, and he was planning on admitting defeat after whatever the she-cat said next, he had gotten what he wanted, and the smirk on his face showed it all. But when Snake'Bite spoke, he nearly flinched backwards at the sudden change in tone. What was this? Who was this? He only just managed to keep himself still, but his ears tilted sideways, and he narrowed his eyes slightly, the smirk slowly fading. After a few seconds of silence he tried to make up for what he had lost. "A good warrior would be better if the Deputy would do her duties." He tipped his head back up, now as a way for him to hopefully disguise the strange fear that seemed to hide in the depth of his eyes. What did he say differently this time? What was going on? Wasn't it just a normal argument? He'd already failed with that length of silence, how should he save it? He tilted his head down to glare at Snake'Bite. ((pffffff He's kind of a mess now) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite: - RainClan Camp (near prey hole? Yes) ``The strong cat enjoyed the look of confusion on the Warriors face. It was like a treat and she wanted more of the delight. The silence was harsh, a single mouse piep would have been heard amongst the usually loud environment. She stalked closer to the tom, ignoring what he said, as it was just some excuse for waiting to respond so long. Snake'Bite stopped, merely a mouse tail was between them now. She was on eye height with the other and so she looked straight into his yellow eyes with her own dark green ones.`` "You. Do. Not. Scare. Me" ``It was nearly a whisper, but the words left her mouth, flying right into the others ears. Snake'Bite would threaten him as much as she could, although she didn't think that he'd learn after one encounter. This cat needed frequent reminders of whom he should respect.`` "And you certainly DON'T tell me what to do." ``She looked into his eyes once more, and angry haze in her eyes but also something else. Something that she wasn't sure how to explain, but she felt what her eyes portrayed and she hoped that Vine'Crawler wouldn't see it.`` (Also sorry I forgot to add her eye colour but it's dark green heheh) 0 players like this post! -Vine'Crawler -RainClan Camp:Near Prey Hole Vine'Crawler's ears flicked back for only a split second as Snake'Bite stepped forward, a chill sliding down his spine at her words. But as she came eye-level with him, an idea flashed across his mind. He remained still, and stared into her dark green eyes. "My, Snake'Bite, your eyes are truly stunning today," He said slowly, copying her strategic complement. He topped his head ever to closer as he said these words, only to put emphasis on one word in particular, 'Stunning'. He did mean it though, normally he never looked at a cat's eyes as close as he was now, but he stared into the complex loops and rings of her dark green eyes. Just as he was about to turn away, he thought he glimpsed something deep in the darkest part of her eyes. Vine'Crawler quickly spun around, his tail flicking toward her face as he put distance between them. "And I sure hope I don't scare you. Our whole clan would fall apart if our once brave, strong, powerful, deputy was frightened by a little warrior like me." He tipped his head to the side, glancing back as he walked away. "And it would be worth noting, sometimes even the smartest of cats should be able to take suggestions." To him, this statement felt like a win, but he knew Snake'Bite could counter it easily. Even if she decided not to, this was not Vine'Crawler's win. It was hers. And it always would be. (bro.... -wheeze- this took some thought...) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite: - Rainclan camp ``As the tom stepped closer, the cat stood still as a rock. She wasn't going to show that the move impressed her. Snake'Bite had thought that the other would give up, but no, it didn't look like that. When he suddenly complimented her eyes, her eyes widened just the slightest bit. Did he mean it? Or was he just contering to her threat? As he turned around, she snapped back at him.`` "Oh of course it's my fault, how could I forget that you simply don't know what to do without my advice?!" ``Without waiting for a further response she also turned around, walking back the couple of steps to sit back down next to Leaf'Star. Her mind flew back to the compliment. It stung her that it might have been a joke to offend her. Maybe he really thought her eyes were pretty? She didn't even know. Snake'Bite turned her head towards her leader.`` "Sorry, I was angry at him offending you and me" ``She quieted down quickly after the words, not wanting to waste her words on explaining why, when the other had been listening the whole time anyways. She continued eating her bush piglet which she had barely managed to take a bite out of.`` 0 players like this post! Like? |

-Vine'Crawler -RainClan Camp: Far Away from Prey Hole Vine'Crawler dragged his prey farther away from the two she-cats, deciding to end it there, and he was glad too, because at that moment he noticed Red'Splat exiting the Warrior's Den. His brother took one look at the leader and deputy and Vine'Crawler's ruffled fur, and rushed over. "Vine'Crawler! What did you do this time? Please don't tell me you went and started a fight again? With Snake'Bite!? Why her?" Red'Splat spoke quickly and quietly as he stood next to his brother, pushing into him slightly as a warning, away from the center of the camp. "Go away, Red'Splat." Vine'Crawler grumbled, "You've just ruined my mood... and my food." He added as Red'Splat took one look at his large piece of prey and helped himself to it. "Were you the one that caught it? No, I don't think so. Listen, you need to be more careful. One of these days, you might get attacked and severely injured! Or worse, thrown out of the Clan! Mmm, this is pretty good." Red'Splat munched on the nice meat. "Getting thrown out is worse than an injury? Anyway, it's fine, you need to just back off. You inflate every problem you touch. I'm just...having... fun.." Vine'Crawler said, but not quite in his usual manner. He glanced away as he figured Red'Splat had noticed. "Are you alright?" He asked. "What did she say? Did she say something against... me? It doesn't matter anyway, you need to not-" "STOP." Vine'Crawler hissed, cutting him off. "I keep trying to tell you, you're just inflating the problem! Can't you.. relax? Or something?" He grumbled quietly, and pulled back the prey to eat for himself. "Something's definitely wrong with you... I'll have to ask around, there's definitely someone who was awake at the time who can tell me since you won't..." Red'Splat looked around, his tail swishing. A few other warriors were now awake, getting up and walking around to grab their own food. "hah..." he mumbled as he saw Shade'Feather emerge from the shadows, climbing up the tree near Leaf'Star and Snake'Bite. He was casting shifty glances in their directions, but mostly focusing on the prey he held in his jaws. Red'Splat dashed off to talk with him, leaving Vine'Crawler to sit and contemplate the whole conversation again. -Leaf'Star -RainClan Camp:Near Prey Pile Leaf'Star nearly giggled at the two fighting cats. The sudden switch to complements threw her off at the start, but now she just found it funny. "No, I should thank you. I just don't know what I should do with that tom. He's so disrespectful! We can't really afford to lose him, and sorry but, it's not like he's really hurting anything. It's like, if we don;t react he'd get bored, but..." She paused, calculating, watching Snake'Bite, "I'd guess you enjoy your little fights too." She shut her mouth and tilted her head up, to not look at Snake'Bite directly anymore. "You also seem to be the one to quickly put him in his place, it's a weird sort of respect he seems to have... I guess you would be the one to describe it best." She laughed lightly, now turning her gaze back toward the nursery where another noise was coming from. A small yellow kit came running out, almost graceful, yet clumsy at the same time as he ran towards them. It was Yellow'Kit, now hoping to almost copy what he had witnessed the other warrior do. It wasn't that the kit looked up to him, it just seemed like that was a perfect way to cause chaos. "Hello!" He bounded up cheerfully.(He hadn't actually heard or comprehended what he saw, he just felt the sense of chaos and hoped this one word might replicate it) ((so the conversation was kinda long.... uhhhh.... anyway! time for some YELLOW'KIT)) 0 players like this post! Snake'Bite: - RainClan Camp (near prey pile & warrior dens) ``Snake'Bite's muzzle was grazed by a smile. The leader was right, even if the fights were annoying, they brought her fun. She had to admit that the demon of a cat was a cat she looked forward to argue with, especially in this new flirtatious way. Snake'Bite knew that something had changed this morning, something in their relationship as clanmates had clicked, she just didn't know what yet..`` "Yellow'kit." ``A simple word that the cat meant as a greeting. She didn't like kits a lot, and turned to walk towards the warrior dens. The small creatures were just a bit too confronting to her and so before turning completely, she looked the kit up and down, without it noticing her judging look.`` "Patrols, I'll take care of them." ``Snake'Bite cringed at her voice as she told Leaf'Star her doing. The gray cat walked over to the dens carefully, making sure that her paws wouldn't fall into any minor holes between the woven leaves. As she arrived in the most frontiers den, which the other small dens connected to by small tunnels, she let out a cry.`` "Hunting and boarder patrols are needed! NOW!" ``Not the nicest way to wake the sleeping cats up but they could have just woken up by themselves, so she shrugged it off. A few grumpy cats trotted towards her, shaking their heads as to completely clear their minds.`` "Pebble'Shadow, Gray'Pelt you two check the boarders. Silver'Moon, come with me, we'll hunt. If any of you sees Vine'Crawler, take him with you too." ``As the words left her mouth, she turned around abruptly and twitched her tail signaling the others to follow her out of the den.`` 0 players like this post!
