Welcome! This is a private roleplay between Owl’Feather and I(Northe). If you would like to roleplay with us, you could join other things! Hope to see you there! Once I figure out what it is I'll put a link here, possibly the tribes! or Shattered skies! hey that rhymes Shattered Skies Main Guide! ————————————————————————— IntroductionThe five Clans of the forest have been at careful peace ever since The Storm. Now the threat grows from within as the cats get back to their normal lives. Border patrols are fighting, and the prey seems scarce, even in GreenLeaf. Will the cats unite under common goals, or will their differences be the thing to tear them apart? InformationSeason: Late GreenLeaf The prey should running well as all the trees are green and growing happily. The occasional rainstorm keeps the land green and thriving. Next Gathering: 3 Days The Gathering is coming up soon! Assignments on who can go are not out yet, but some warriors and many apprentices are hoping this might be their chance to go! Last Gathering Recap: Average Gathering. Not very high tensions, but some were disturbed by Wet'Pelt's death. Next Half Moon Meeting: 18 Days Not at all on the minds of the medicine cats, unless something has happened and they hope to meet with StarClan. Last Half Moon Meeting Recap: Silent'Ripple's first Half Moon Meeting without Wet'Pelt. He said as few words as possible. Weather: Heavy Cloud Cover Rain is very likely. The air is dense and the humidity is rising. It isn’t going to rain yet, but it will probably by the night. Current Time: Sunhigh The patrols should be on their way back, for a small time of relaxation for those on morning patrols, training for the apprentices, and preparation for another round of patrols. Recent Events: RainClan has a fight over MountainClan's and their borders. RainClan won, but their territory didn't expand, as they had been defending. Both Snake'Bite and Vine'Crawler were noted to be a powerful fighting force and took out the majority of Mountain Clan's warriors, though none were injured badly enough to be put out of commission, even for a day. The former CavernClan Medicine Cat, Wet'Pelt, died in a Rainstorm last moon. CavernClan now has a cat who is barely over the age of an apprentice healing the clan. Recap! —After Vine’Crawler and Snake’Bite finish their fight, a both hunting and border patrols are sent out. The hunting patrol, led by Snake’Bite, finds great success, despite Red’Splat’s distracted nature. The border patrol in the other hand, finds Proud’Scar alone, antagonizing two MountainClan cats on the border. The cats face off, the MountainClan cats outnumbered, but not standing down. Later, Snake’Bite and Shade’Feather arrive, having heard the commotion, leaving the rest of the hunting group to head back to camp. As Snake’Bite is conversing with the MountainClan cats, she is attacked by a MountainClan patrol, and a battle breaks out. With Snake’Bite immediately out, RainClan ends up retreating, but the battle cannot be considered a true victory, with no territory loss or gained, but also, the threat of RainClan’s anger. -Grey’Pelt has died. He now joins the ranks of StarClan - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - AllegiancesRainClan(M) CavernClan(N) MountainClan(O) DesertClan(N) PineClan (O) StarClan Character RelationshipsCharacter SheetsView and Post Character Sheets0 players like this post! Snake'Bite: - RainClan territory ``The cat felt dizzy and her head hurt awfully much. She couldn't quite remember why they had been at the borders or why she had such a pain. The normal snarky Snake'Bite didn't utter a word as Gray'Pelt helped her trotted through the jungle and neither did she complain when Vine'Crawler came along. With barely enough energy to walk, she slowly lifted her head to look up at the younger warrior and her face portrayed shock after seeing blood seep through scars and his ear having a slice through it.`` "Vine'Crawler... what happened?" ``The gray coated cat was confused and feared something had happened while she hadn't been able to help. She as the deputy was the one supposed to help!? Slowly memories came back of her talking to Dove'Wing and Cloud'Heart, why didn't they warn her? Did they hate her? What happened to her other clanmates? Her head started pounding more and so she tried to quiet down the questions she was asking herself.`` ---------- Gray'Pelt: - RainClan territory ``As the small parade limped through the forest, his wounds caused him to take short breaks, which made them even slower. He felt terrible for having to stop the fight for his and his clanmates will, but he wasn't sure if any of the other Warriors would have. What if they would have thought to death? Would the enemies have killed them or let them run? He wasn't entirely sure, but he'd rather not find out. Gray'Pelt looked at Snake'Bite, the poor cat was completely confused and he felt sorry for her. The deputy had been pretty much squeezed between him and Vine'Crawler to stand and even get forwards, the whole thing looked quite funny, but now wasn't the time to laugh. What would Leaf'Star say about all this?`` "Come on Snake'Bite, not much more and we're there." ``His voice interrupted the silence that had lingered between them pretty much the whole way until Snake'Bite had asked Vine'Crawler what had happened. The older warrior had to admit that the usually a bit annoying cat had taken many hits but continued to fight well. Maybe he would get an apprentice soon, every warrior pretty much wanted to teach another cat to continue the traditions. He continued his way through the jungle careful and slowely`` ------------ Proud'Scar: - RainClan borders / RainClan territory ``Proud'Scar had heard the cry of Gray'Pelt and had first not wanted to run away and give up, but when he saw in what condition all of them were in he quickly changed his mind. He gave Bat'Claw one last smack and ran for the better. The tom was rather slow to get back to camp, walking together with Pebble'Shadow, who had fought well during the battle. Proud'Scar wasn't talking at all, hoping to regain his breath and strength by simply shutting up, which he didn't do a lot otherwise. He would be just fine with the other warrior speaking but he himself needed the quiet at the moment. This battle would leave traces on him in the form of scars, something he wasn't really sad about as he could tell the kits and apprentices new stories about them now. A smile appeared on his muzzle, even if they lost they all fought well, so he was proud of himself too.`` ----------- Tear'paw: - RainClan Camp ``At Rain'Drop's command, he ran to get the said items; marigold and cobwebs, following her into the med den. He knew that cobwebs were good to stop bleeding and to close an open wound, but he wondered what marigold would do, maybe relieve some pain? Fright filled him at the thought that Warriors may have lost their lives, but he tried to calm down as panic wouldn't help a wounded cay.`` "Rain'Drop, what if someone died?" ``His voice came out shaking and sad as he waited for her reply he gathered some of the herbs. Luckily he had her as alone he wouldn't know what to do or how to use the herbs at all. Would he really learn all the herbs and uses of them some day? If he didn't was he really to become the next Medicine Cat? Starclan hadn't contacted him yet and he was scared that they opposed him or didn't like him, maybe he just had to believe, it was the only thing he could do.`` ((So short for every character sorry ahabsnwmwkm)) 0 players like this post! -Vine'Crawler -RainClan Territory Vine'Crawler struggled to look at Snake'Bite. He felt ashamed, such a wound across his face left a mark, a mark of failure, but he wouldn't ignore his deputy. "Mist'Ear, that... fox-hearted fool... she jumped at you, started the whole fight. Another MountainClan patrol showed up, must have thought we started the fight. We can't be blamed, we were all still on our own side! MountainClan is at fault." He paused struggling to catch his breath. "We retreated... though I do think we gave them some scratches to be sorry for." That wasn't how he actually felt though, he could feel how downcast everyone in there little group felt, he had wanted to help, but his voice portrayed the tiredness he felt, his pain, and his broken-spirit. -Pebble'Shadow -RainClan Territory Pebble'Shadow wandered along in shame next to Proud'Scar. He felt like a complete failure. What sort of warrior was he? Trying to back away from a fight, needing another warrior to step in and save him, even needing that same warrior to knock the opponent off so he could escape. The silence from Proud'Scar only made him feel worse. Was this honorable warrior wondering why a failure such as him was daring to walk near? Did he even notice? Pebble'Shadow sure hoped not. His limbs ached and he just wanted to curl up and sleep, but he needed to get back as fast as possible. His mate and kits would worry after they heard about the battle. He sighed, his thoughts circling back to his failure in the fight. -Rain'Drop -RainClan Camp Rain'Drop bustled around, wrapping bundles of cobweb and marigold in large leaves to carry out, she hoped they could go and meet the cats either on the battle field, or halfway back. If there were any serious injuries, she wanted to treat them right away. "Let's hope no one has," She said in response to Tear'Paw's question. "And if they have, we will work through it as a clan, and celebrate their life with us, knowing they moved on to StarClan. They're never truly gone, remember that always." She sighed. "Here, carry these," She set down two leaf bundles in front of her apprentice. "I want to see if we can get to them faster if we go out and meet them." She picked up four more leaf bundles and left the den. She spotted Shade'Feather nearby, pacing with a limp in his front leg. His pelt was still tattered, though there was evidence he had tried to clean it already. "You need to rest. Where has Leaf'Star gone?" Rain'Drop asked, dropping one of the bundles at his feet. She knew he was capable of keeping himself alive while treating the other cats, he had been a rogue before. "Right here, Red'Splat and Silver'Moon have left to find the rest of the warriors, are you two ready?" Leaf'Star asked Rain'Drop and Tear'Paw. Rain'Drop nodded and glanced back at Tear'Paw. -Red'Splat -RainClan Territory Red'Splat had led Silver'Moon down the tree, and now the two were on their way to find the other cats. As they got further and further from camp, Red'Splat sensed the tang of blood in the air. He quickened his pace, worry keeping his paws light. If Shade'Feather pushed himself so hard just to get back to camp to warn everyone, the other warriors must be much worse. He was partially worried they would have to join in the fight, but as they continued on, he spotted a strange shape through the trees, along with the scents of Grey'Pelt, Snake'Bite and Vine'Crawler. As soon as he laid his eyes on Snake'Bite, supported between the two, Vine'Crawler with blood streaming down his face, and Grey'Pelt about to collapse, he gasped, and let out a yowl, hoping it would prompt Rain'Drop, Tear'Paw and Leaf'Star to get there faster. (Yeah.. ik so short,.. but I think its okay...)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite: - RainClan territory ``Snake'Bite's tough heart broke at Vine'Crawler's voice. He sounded so ashamed and with his scar across his face the sight made her feel even worse for not being able to fight. What had happened to her? She hated him so much, but right now she felt bad for him and one might even say, sorry...`` "I understand... if you didn't cross the borders first, it wasn't our fault, although I might say you are mouse brained for arguing with specifically the cats we had a war with." ``Her voice held a slight snicker at the end of her speech, she could imagine Proud'Scar starting to argue with the other cats, she quickly stopped ghough after her lungs started to ache. Exhaustion was written over both Gray'Pelt and Vine'Crawler's faces, they should really get back to camp. She tried hyping up the two warriors who seemed like rain clouds on a summer day, she usually liked those dark clouds but on these two they seemed a bit wrong.`` "Don't be too sad. If you gave them a couple good smacks I'm happy, and I'm never happy, this is just for you so enjoy it." ``Her voice changed more snarky again, so many words to two so unknown cats to her. She'd have to rest days to pick back up the skill to speak. Honestly Snake'Bite was thankful for not being the leader, those had to talk a lot and that wasn't really her thing, as the deputy she could just quietly sit next to the leader and observe the other cats.`` --------- Proud'Scar: - RainClan territory ``He noticed Pebble'Shadow's sad expression and wondered why he looked like that. Of course they had been the ones to surrender, but still they had fought well, atleast in his own mind. Should he ask why the other cat looked so dead? Would that be offensive? Nah!`` "Hey Pebble'Shadow, why do you look so depressed? Did something go wrong while fighting?" ``An easy smirk covered his face, he was full of confidence and he would try giving the warrior some of that.`` "I think you should smile a bit more, get some confidence, ya know? It makes you seem way stronger honestly. I wouldn't be half as scary without being confident. Be the moment be yourself but with some more confidence please." ---------- Tear'Paw: - RainClan Camp ``He scrambled around while carefully listening to his mentor. He really hoped that no cat had died, but Rain'Drop's words calmed him down. StarClan was especially important to the both of them, their faith guided and their words taught them. Tear'Paw picked up the bundles that the medince cat lay down infront of him and followed her out of the den. As Leaf'Star asked them if they were ready he nodded aswell. He would have to be ready to help and support the actual Medicine Cat through the healing process.`` "I'm ready, please let's just go! Gray'Pelt is there too!" ---------- (Hope its fine that silvermoon is missing just imagine that she came with redsplat, I just had to serve you this after the long wait) 0 players like this post! -Vine'Crawler -RainClan Territory "Of course we didn't cross the border first! They unfairly attacked us! We were having a conversation! Proud'Scar started the whole thing anyway. We were out patrolling like you told us and heard his loud hissing. We had to go back him up, or that flea-brain would have tried to take on two MountainClan cats all by himself!" Vine'Crawler huffed. He had suddenly gotten the urge to defend himself. "I don't know if we did well enough. I chased off Mist'Ear, but Bat'Claw was there, and you know what he's like... It's not your fault though!" He added on quickly. "They shouldn't have done what they did..." He lowered his head. His face and ear stung, and he shook his head to try and clear his eyes. "I don't know where Proud'Scar and Pebble'Shadow have gone, or Shade'Feather for that matter. I hope they're alright." He sighed quietly. He normally wasn't the cat to worry about other warriors like this, but he felt bad. Maybe if he had just not started an argument like always, Snake'Bite would be feeling better by now. He glanced at Grey'Pelt and immediately felt horrible. Snake'Bite was fine, what about him? The poor warrior looked as though he was about to fall over. "Hey! Are you guys okay? What exactly happened!" Vine'Crawler looked up to see his annoying brother Red'Splat trotting towards them, followed by Silver'Moon. Vine'Crawler hissed and looked away. "There was a battle fur-brain! Why didn't you come and help, huh?" Vine'Crawler growled. "Why are you even here now! Go get Rain'Drop, if you can't find her, bring Tear'Paw! Come on! Cats are dying here!" Red'Splat looked taken aback. "They should be on their way... It'll be fine..." Red'Splat mumbled taking a step back. ------------- -Rain'Drop -RainClan Camp to Territory Rain'Drop had led Tear'Paw down the tree, carefully making sure neither of them would stumble while carrying their herbs. As Leaf'Star's paws hit the ground, a yowl broke out. Rain'Drop recognized Red'Splat. "They must've found the group, come on Tear'Paw, let's go!" Rain'Drop hurried to the young apprentice. She started trotting quickly in the direction in the loud yowl. As she came upon the strange group of three cats stood together be Red'Splat and Silver'Moon, she pushed the red tom out of the way to examine Snake'Bite, but immediately left to tend to Grey'Pelt, who she could tell was clearly more injured despite the two toms supporting the deputy. "Alright, Tear'Paw, we need to work fast. Grey'Pelt, we are treating you here, you two" She nodded to Vine'Crawler and Snake'Bite. "Step back, let him breathe. Tear'Paw, unwrap a leaf bundle. Take some Marigold and chew it into a pulp. Grey'Pelt this is going to sting a little. Okay, now press it into the wound. Marigold will help heal the wounds and prevent infection, as well as treating for infection if one has set in while they stumbled through this unforgiving terrain." She instructed briskly. "Then, apply the cobwebs. Start with the largest most serious wounds first." She unwrapped one of the bundles herself and did the same. ---------------- -Pebble'Shadow -RainClan Territory Pebble'Shadow flinched as Proud'Scar spoke. He ducked his head and looked away. Once Proud'Scar started going on about confidence Pebble'Shadow sighed. "Yeah but... ever since I became mates with Violet'Feather, and she had our kits, it's become so much harder to jump into battle. I know that makes me a bad warrior and stuff, but I can't help it! I look into the eyes of the enemy, and I think, what will happen to my family if I don't make it? These past few fights haven't helped either, if Shade'Feather hadn't been there to throw off those two, I might have been injured much worse, and in turn, I saw the scratch along his leg! Did you know, I almost didn't even escape at the end?! Shade'Feather had to save me, again! I feel like I've lost my talent, my ability to fight!" He paused with a small glance toward Proud'Scar. "Sorry... you probably didn't need to hear all that... hah... um, do you know where Shade'Feather went anyway? I didn't think he'd actually keep running after he knocked Dove'Wing away. Did you see where he went?" He asked in a quick attempt to change the subject. ((I could do more oc pov, but I think this is enough to get the information across, nothing much is really happening at camp for shade''feather i dont think)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite: - RainClan territory ``The cat flinched at Vine'Crawler's harsh voice. She wasn't in a place to defend herself, already uneasy on her paws and between the two toms. But she continued listening. She could understand how disappointed the warrior was and stopped her muzzle from opening to prevent aggressive words from flying back. Snake'Bite continued to waddle along with the other cats and had to notice in what a terrible condition Grey'Pelt seemed to be. The grey cat was barely standing and breathing heavily while trying to support her from falling. Normally, it wasn't her business to worry about others, but he really looked like he'd been hurt. Unwillingly, she opened her muzzle, face turned to the warrior.`` "Grey'Pelt... what happened to you?" ``As she waited for an answer, she heard cats come out of the thicket, Red'Splat and Silver'Moon! A heavenly relief spread over her aching body, milding the pain and dizziness that she still felt. They had to act now for everyone here! Luckily, Red'Splat and Silver'Moon had seemed to notify the medince cats already, meaning they were on the way. The same moment, she heard russles alarming her until she saw the clans' healers advance towards them.`` "Thank you, starclan." ``Snake'Bite's silent prayer came of as a whisper, and she hoped that none of the other cats heard it. She liked to keep the prayers and thanks to StarClan themselves.`` -------------- Grey'Pelt: - RainClan territory ``The Tom's shoulders hieved up and down with effort as he tried standing put with all his power, preventing himself from falling. If he fell, Snake'Bite would also, and it wouldn't only hurt, it would also be awkward and embarrassing. The pain that carved into him made the whole thing even worse. Grey'Pelt nearly shivered with the amount of force it took for him to not break under the deputy's and his own weight. He felt so helpless and wanted to cry out that his body wasn't his own and that he could barely control it. Fright caught a hang of him. What if he wouldn't be able to continue walking? Would he ever see Silver'Moon and Tear'Paw again? Oh, StarClan, help him!`` ``He trembled under Snake'Bite, and when she asked what happened to him, he couldn't answer. Grey'Pelt was barely able to breathe the whole world that he knew seemed to collapse on him, and everything was turning.`` ``All of the sudden, he didn't realise the moment between 4 more cats arrived, 2 of them running over to him and telling him that they would treat him.`` "StarClan, why does it burn so bad?!" ``His voice was a cry, and he flinched when the younger tom pressed Marigold into his largest wounds. Grey'Pelt looked up at his son, who had to treat him and stay professional even if it was his father who was to be helped. Tears began running down the small toms face as he continued pressing the pulp down, sniffling quietly.`` "I'll be alright Tear'Paw" ``It was barely a whisper, and he sunk to the floor to lay sideways, this way, they would be able to treat him better. He really hoped he'd make it. The pain was agonising, and he couldn't stop shivering under every touch.`` --------- Proud'Scar: - RainClan territory ``He walked along, listening to Pebble'Shadow and feeling bad for him. He himself didn't have anyone else than his parents. Of course he loved them a lot, but he thought that the bond between Violet'Feather and him must be way tougher than his with his parents.`` "Oh common Pebble'Shadow. You fought well and i understand why you think it's harder to jump into battle, but think about it like this: You jump into battle to defend your family, even if you die, you die for them and you get to watch and lead them together with StarClan!" ``The cat smiled throughout his speech, he couldn't wait to become a StarClan member, well respected and loved. Proud'Scar thought it was the most honorable way to go; in battle. Then again he knew that Pebble'Shadow would miss his family and that they would miss him, if he didn't want to die, then he'd have to fight.`` "Think about it, if you don't fight, you've already lost. Fight and win, no matter the scars." ((Took forever again sorry for that also left tearpaw out cause he's in Grey'Pelt's part EEEEEE)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

-Vine’Crawler -RainClan Territory Vine’Crawler stepped back and lowered his head. He didn’t want any of the other cats to see him right now, not like this. Unfortunately, Red’Splat was always a brother who cared, no matter how annoying he was. “Vine’Crawler are you okay?” Red’Splat asked gently, brushing up next to the wounded warrior. “I’m fine, go ask Snake’Bite or Gray’Pelt that…” Vine’Crawler huffed. “Aww, you do care if your clan mates get hurt!” Red’Splat teased. Where normally Vine’Crawler would have shot back at Red’Splat for something like that, he merely mumbled and turned his head away again. “Vine’Crawler, they’re going to be fine! Rain’Drop and Tear’Paw are here! Rain’Drop has to be one of the best medicine cats! If Grey’Pelt can be saved, then she will do it!” Red’Splat kept his voice lowered and filled it with optimism, but his demeanor was sad and somber. “ If Grey’Pelt can be saved!?“ Vine’Crawler hissed. “What is that supposed to mean?” “No, what? I mean, he can be! Did I say that? Sorry…” Red’Splat averted his gaze and seemed to watch something in the trees. Vine’Crawler hissed again and left his brother. He stomped back over to Snake’Bite and Grey’Pelt, casually hoping no one would notice when he brushed up next to the deputy. He was just making sure she wouldn’t fall… —————————— -Rain’Drop -RainClan Territory Rain’Drop would only admit to herself that this wasn’t looking good. Grey’Pelt’s wounds where deep, and there were many of them. She worked quickly, but she secretly worried it was too late. It didn’t matter, they would fight and do their best to help him. She looked up for someone else to help. “Red’Splat! Go find some moss and soak it in water. Hurry please!” Rain’Drop commanded. “We need to work on cleaning some of this blood too. Hang in there Grey’Pelt, we got you.” She mumbled. She glanced at Tear’Paw. The poor apprentice wasn’t doing so great. She watched Red’Splat slouch off and she hissed at him. “Hurry up you lump of fluff!” She sighed and continued working on Grey’Pelt, giving Tear’Paw small pointers and encouraging him while talking quietly to Grey’Pelt. ——————— -Pebble’Shadow -RainClan Territory Pebble’Shadow nodded. What Proud’Scar said did make some sense. “Thank you, Proud’Scar. I really appreciate it… It makes sense, but.. it’s easier said than done I guess..” He looked up at the heavily scarred warrior, a small smile growing in his face. Pebble’Shadow was glad for this bonding time, he just wished that it would have happened because of a battle. Maybe he would invite the warrior out for a hunt sometime. “Seriously though, what happened to the others? Are they already back? Did you see how anyone else was? Do you think we should hurry up so they don’t worry about us?” He asked turning to who his considered a much stronger, smarter, and more experienced warrior. ((Haha brother drama… also heeeey Snake’Bite!!)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite: - RainClan territory ``As the two healers leaned over Grey'Pelt, who still seemed to be fighting through the pain of a hundred deep wounds (dramatic yup), she had sat down next to him, her tail sitting by his side as to somehow support him. Snake'Bite had noticed that Vine'Crawler had moved away with his brother Red'Splat and could hear small hissed before Rain'Drop told the kinder brother to get some soaked moss. Since the other had left, Vine'Crawler returned to Grey'Pelt's side but not without brushing against Snake'Bite, who slightly widened her eyes. What was that supposed to be?! A hint of panic flew over her gaze but quickly diminished as her whole body grew warmer. Must be the sun, its sun-high anyways! Or my pelt is just too heavy right now, nothing else...`` "Grey'Pelt, you are doing well. I'm sure you'll be alright." ``Her voice was a silent murmur as she tried to help the cat stay awake. He wasn't looking necessarily good. His eyes were filled with tears of terror, and his body was shaking while his breath was quickening constantly. His son's name was coming true and getting an actual meaning (Tear'Paw lol). Although she had a dieing cat infront of her, a crying one next to her and a medicine cat trying her best to heal on the other side of the apprentice, all she could focuse on was the tom sitting slightly pressed against her. WHY? WHY? WH?Y DO I HAVE TO CONCENTRATE ON HIM?! As demonic cries erupted in her mind, her outer shape didn't move an inch, yet you could easily notice that she zoomed out as her eyes where staring right ahead into the deep jungles.`` ------------ Grey'Paw: - RainClan territory ``The cat Withered on the ground, shacking as he tried his best to stay still under the pain that kept strucking him. Everything in his sight had turned into a single blur of colours as tears took hold of him. His breathing was heavy, and his lungs felt like they were getting too little to be filled completely. The only thing he could concentrate on were the sobs of his only son. They spiralled into his head, and he couldn't get away from them. Please StarClan don't make me leave him. He's just barely an apprentice. Please, StarClan! PLEASE! His voice rang in his head as the sobs kept coming. WHY? Did it really have to end like this? His own son would have to witness his death, his descending to StarClan. Yet as he thought about it, he would be able to guard over Tear'Paw and Silver'Moon, which wasn't bad at all. He would also be able to meet long-lost clanmembers and relatives. A calm slowly took over him. His breathing slowed and his shaking came to a halt. With the last bit of power in him, which he was sure he got from StarClan, he spoke up.`` "Tear'Paw, I love you, you are going to be an... amazing Medicine Cat. Tell Silver'Moon I'll love her forever." ``With a calm smile on his muzzle he closed his eyes and his body made a couple more movements as he took his last breathes, before he somehow felt lighter. Almost as if his soul was leaving his body. As he opened his eyes he was greater by other cats. Yet they weren't normal... they had a kind of shimmer to them and all looked proud and lovingly at him. Was this StarClan?`` ----------- Tear'Paw: - RainClan territory ``He tried his best to continue to heal his father's body as his mentor spoke to him. Yet under dwelling tears this wasn't an easy job. After repeatingly stopping due to shock he rocked closer to his dad's body not doing much anymore other than laying his head on his chest. Sniffling and not hearing anything other than his dad's rapid breathes. All of the sudden something changed. His father's chest rose slower and weaker, yet calmer and kinder. Tear'Paw's head shot up as he sat back up, tears still running down his cheeks.`` ``As his father words hit his hears, a loud sob left his mouth. NO, FATHER DONT LEAVE ME! DONT LEAVE US! An unforgiving silence came after the loving yet slightly haunting words. Silence, Pure silence indulged him. Nothing could move him not a single word made its way into his brain as he sat there like one of the tall trees in the jungle. He felt completely destroyed, useless and weakened. Why? Why did his father have to go? Why?`` ------------- Proud'Scar: - RainClan territory ``As they continued trotting through the jungle a smile was plastered on his face. It was a mix between a confident, kind and smug one as he felt all at the same time. In one word, he felt awesome, which he secretly always did. I mean he was awesome right? Of course!`` "You're welcome. Also yeah those guys must have run off before we could, Snake'Bite didn't look too well though so I guess it was smarter to give up... i would have stayed to fight but you got to do what you got to do." ``A smirk on his muzzle told himself how great of a talker he was, yet again he also kinda wondered where the others had gone... Well considering they were injured he would guess the camp.`` "Probably climbed up into the safe somewhere in camp or so. Let's just head there, I need a big piece of Bush pig to regain the energy that I lost during the fight. You should also eat something" ((Sorry for taking literally weeks to reply, terribly sorry about that but hey snakebite be blushing ehehehehehr)) ((Also just pretend silvermoon had to do something in camp so she had to run there after finding them)) 0 players like this post! Vine’Crawler RainClan Territory Vine’Crawler had been watching silently, but he seemed to sense a shift in Snake’Bite’s demeanor. He glanced over to her, and noticed the strange look on her face. “Sn-“ he started, only to become aware that something dreadful was happening with Grey’Pelt. He turned his head away to stare in devastation at the grey warrior’s few last words. He felt his own sting in his eyes and she stood up to walk away. Red’Splat came bounding back, his muzzle dripping from the drenched moss he carried. Vine’Crawler walked past his with a quite hiss. “You’re late…” Red’Splat gave him a confused look, and walked over to drop the moss by Rain’Drop. Vine’Crawler just started walking. His tail swished quickly and he started heading toward camp. This wasn’t his fault, there was no way… but it was. He had led their patrol to meet Proud’Scar at the border, he had continued to antagonize the MountainClan cats when he should have talked Proud’Scar down and left. No, it was Proud’Scar’s fault! He was the one to start it! He was the one who went of by himself and was the first to make the MountainClan cats mad! And Red’Splat! He took so long to grab that moss! Why hadn’t Rain’Drop sent him! He definitely could have been way faster! Or could he have? What if he would have taken even longer. His brother was only a few moments late! No, no, he couldn’t keep thinking in circles like this. He couldn’t keep walking in circles either! He had started pacing, around and a round. He sat down, bowed his head and let out a shaking sigh. —————— Leaf’Star RainClan Territory Leaf’Star felt the sinking in her stomach as she watched Grey’Pelt fade away. She felt broken, wounded herself. She should have been at that battle. Whatever happened, it was serious, and as the leader, she should have been there. She clenched her jaw and turned to look at Snake’Bite, Leaf’Star had never seen such a look on the deputy’s face and she walked over to sit next to her. “Are you alright?” She asked gently. She knew fully well this might prompt the deputy to either close off or snap back, but she really just wanted to help her friend. “I’m so sorry Tear’Paw,” Rain’Drop mumbled. Leaf’Star turned to the medicine cat. “You did the best you could, Rain’Drop. Come on RainClan, let’s head back to camp. We need to give Grey’Pelt a proper goodbye, and spread the word.” She stayed next to Snake’Bite as Rain’Drop and Red’Splat stood and gathered themselves to leave. “Red’Splat, will you help…” Rain’Drop murmured as she put herself in a place to lift Grey’Pelt. The red warrior bowed his head to help lift the fallen warrior. “Let’s go Tear’Paw…” the medicine cat mumbled as the two started to walk away. Leaf’Star turned back to Snake’Bite, waiting silently to see if the deputy would even want to walk back with her. ————— Rain’Drop RainClan Territory to Camp She had… failed. Though, part of her knew it was coming. She walked along next to Red’Splat as the two brought the dead warrior back to bury. “Rain’Drop, was I away too long?” The red warrior asked quietly. “No, Red’Splat, it wasn’t your fault. The moss soundly have made too much of a difference. We did all we could, now we must give him a proper RainClan goodbye.” The medicine cat responded. “And, it’s not like we’ll never see him again. The beauty of StarClan, is that we will see our loved ones again. Especially since Tear’Paw is a medicine cat, we can receive dreams from them.” She tipped her head toward the sky. She glimpsed dark cloud through the canopy. “Looks like it’ll rain tonight..” She murmured. “Seems like a sign…” Red’Splat mumbled in response. He leaned a little closer to Rain’Drop. “It’s a strange time for a rain celebration. Should we delay it?” “Of course not, we must celebrate Grey’Pelt’s life. This is for him. A clear way straight to StarClan.” Rain’Drop took a deep breath. “I guess that makes sense…” The two cats stopped below the tree to climb to camp. Red’Splat tipped his head to look into the leaves. “I’ll go tell Silver’Moon, and gather the cats for the burial.” Red’Splat sighed. He leaped up and managed to climb his way into the camp. Rain’Drop sighed and turned around, looking for Tear’Paw. —————— Pebble’Shadow RainClan Territory to Camp Pebble’Shadow nodded to Proud’Scar. Just talking to this warrior had lifted his spirits. “Yeah, I also need to let Violet’Feather know I’m alright,” he mentioned. “Hopefully the hunting group managed to catch something fresh. Oh wow, I didn’t realize how hungry I was before!” He gave Proud’Scar a smile of his own. “Hah, how long have we been walking? The others must think we got lost or something!” He paw-steps quickened to a bit of a light trot. They slowly approached camp, until Pebble’Shadow stopped short. “Do-do you smell that?” He asked, a thread of fear weaving through his voice. It smelled like death. He took a breath and glanced to Proud’Scar. The young warrior hoped he had been wrong. ((I added Shade’Feather but then I deleted it bc it was too long 0 players like this post! Like? Snake'Bite: - RainClan territory ``As she silently kept watching Grey'Pelt with sorrow in her eyes, a hint of warmth was still lingering in her as Vine'Crawler seemed to look at her for just a split second, before turning around to Red'Splat. Gurl what the heck?! Why was she like this? Honestly so extra and dramatic, she should concentrate on the dying cat and not on her enemy that seemed oddly different.... sympathetic? Kinder? Overall different to say the least. Snake'Bite was honestly a bit sad that he turned around leaving her sitting where she was, reflecting on what had happened, before jumping up to follow Leaf'Star who looked to have waited for her guilt was rolling over her in waves at the fact that she had her head turned by another cat as one of her warriors lay in the hand of starclan. Distraction was a typical "disease" of new apprentices and kits, but her? She shook her head as to clear her thoughts, comcentrating on her paws that moved forward without her realizing. Thank starclan they knew where camp lay, otherwise she might have tripped or run into a bush. And thanks to Leaf'Star she was on the right track, which was a large help as well. As Snake'Bite looked over to her leader she saw sorrow in her eyes. A death in ones own clan was hard and as the other was not able to do anything to prevent it, she probably felt horrible.`` "Why? What did I do?" ``Confusion lay in her gaze as she stared ahead, fright in her voice at the death that had just occurred. If only she wouldn't have been knocked out. She would have thought to the death, yet only her own as to not sacrifice another cats life. Yet exactly that had happened one of them had sacrificed themselves for the group, for the clan. Tear'Paw had looked so broken as they began pulling his father back to camp. What would Silver'Moon say? She didn't know anything bad had happened or atleast not that her mate had died. Oh poor her. Snake'Bite felt terrible as she continued wandering through the deep jungle.`` ------------- Tear'Paw: - RainClan territory ``The small tom stood close to his father's body as it was dragged along by Red'Splat and Rain'Drop. His head hug low and tears stung in his eyes, some already prickling down his cheeks. Tear'Paw didn't utter a single word the whole way back to camp, what would he tell his mom? Silver'Moon would be devastated and the least she would do or wouldn't do was leave his father's side. Was this what a defeat as Medicine cat felt like? In this case he felt sorry for every cat before him, because the stinging feeling in his heart was terrible and he wished to never have to feel this again. Yet this situation might encourage him, he thought. Encourage him to study well to prevent as many deaths as possible.`` ------------- Proud'Scar: - RainClan territory "How are you and Violet doing by the way? I mean you seem perfect but I want to hear what you think if I may ask. Relationships interest me although I'm too good for any cat really." ``Proud'Scar let out a low chuckle at his statement. Of course he was too good, at least according to him and no cat would ever fit into his liking. Unless of course it would be a certain cat related to a certain Deputy.... Nooo what was he thinking about?! He had to stop and focuse on walking. Suddenly Pebble'Shadow asked a question that made him stop abruptly.`` "Blood... Damn it doesn't even smell like prey... we better get back to camp, common hurry up Pebble'Shadow!" ``The grey tom quickly got back to walking and quickly changing into sprinting through the jungle, he looked back a couple times to make sure the other had time to follow but he could hear the breathes of Pebble'Shadow and so he didn't have to worry about that cat right now. At the moment the most important thing was to get back to camp to find out who the blood belonged to.`` (FINALLY AFTER FOREVER HERE IS THE UPDATE! ALSO LETS MAKE SNAKE AND VINE INTERACT PLEASE MY LIFE IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT THEM ARGUING <3) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Leaf'Star RainClan Territory to Camp Leaf'Star walked next to her deputy, studying her face, and trying to piece together the best way to comfort her friend. Grey'Pelt's loss was sudden, and it would hit the whole Clan hard. Leaf'Star worried that it might discourage Tear'Paw from wanting to become a medicine apprentice, seeing how he lost his father. She would make sure to talk with both medicine cat and apprentice later, after the clan resettles a bit. "You didn't do anything, I just want to make sure you're okay. Will you be fine walking back to camp, or should I get Rain'Drop to help you now? It's nothing really, just you seem, distant?" Leaf'Star chose her words carefully, speaking slower than the normal pace, but fast enough form just a long string of words. "Like- there's something more on your mind. I feel terrible that I wasn't there to help you all at the battle. I should have been there to keep my clanmates safe." She kept close to her friend, their pelts brushing as they walked. She wasn't exactly sure what state Snake'Bite was in, but she wanted to be close enough to support her if her paws gave out. A dark, cold, breeze ruffled through the rain forest. The smell of rain, thick, yet fresh came with the breeze. Leaf'Star inhaled deeply, trying to calm her racing thoughts and the worry that kept trying to strangle her mind. One worry that kept creeping up claimed that it should have been Leaf'Star to die, since she had an extra eight lives. She should not have been hiding back in camp while the battle was going on. She should have offered to join the patrols. Her have nine lives while a clanmate died in front of her, only meant she wasn't doing her job as a leader. The brown speckled she-cat made a promise to herself to no longer back down with anything. Even if that meant leaving the warriors in charge at camp while she patrolled the borders. ------- Vine'Crawler RainClan Territory to Camp Vine'Crawler wasn't sure how long he had been sitting there by himself. He had almost completely spaced out, something that hadn't happened to him in a while. He only broke free from his trance as the breeze carried rain-filled air across his face, and made all of his scratches wake up and sting. He let out a slow hiss as he stood up, his limbs now stiff as he started walking back toward the group. He partially caught up to Leaf'Star and Snake'Bite, but he hung back, trailing behind them, his tail dragging along the ground, and head lowered. He didn't feel like talking with the two she-cats, not right now at least. He worried that Snake'Bite might call him out again for continuing to antagonize the enemies. So he simply followed behind them, making sure the deputy- and leader- would return to camp safely. -------- Rain'Drop Below RainClan Camp While Rain'Drop and Tear'Paw waited for Red'Splat to return with Silver'Moon and the rest of the clan, she turned once again to observe Tear'Paw. He had been quiet the whole way back, which seemed normal for a grieving cat, especially when said cat was the son of the one who just died. She hoped for Tear'Paw's sake, that StarClan might come with a message soon, and allow Grey'Pelt to be the one to deliver it. Or at least that Tear'Paw might meet his father again at the half-moon meeting. She shifted over to stand next to her apprentice, hoping to be a comforting shoulder to lean on. The warrior had died young, as often happens during battles, but it was especially hard on such a young kit. She wanted to be the type of mentor Tear'Paw could talk to, and she could hopefully offer proper advice and help. She didn't want to force him to talk either, so she remained in silence as the forest spoke around them. The wind rustled through the leaves, the thick scent of rain carried along. It seemed like even the skies would cry for Grey'Pelt tonight. Or maybe they were accepting him into StarClan, and celebrating the new arrival. Rain'Drop always had to remember to celebrate the lives of those lost. She knew that once she died, she wouldn't want the clan to grieve. She'd want them to remember her as good medicine cat, but celebrate the life well lived. -------- Pebble'Shadow RainClan Territory Pebble'Shadow had chuckled along with Proud'Scar at his mention of being too good for a mate, but he was relieved he wouldn't have to answer the question about him and Violet. Not that anything was bad, he just didn't want to feel like he was bragging. Especially to a tom who didn't have a mate. Even if he claimed to be fine without one, Pebble'Shadow would always claim his life was much brighter even since he and Violet'Feather grew closer and eventually started a family. He was worried about them even now as they hurried on their way back to camp. He was a few paces behind Proud'Scar, sore and tired from the fight. His breaths huffed out as he sprinted as fast as he could. Though it was more likely the scent came from one of their clanmates who were at the battle, he always worried that some predator would find their camp while he was gone, and hurt Violet'Feather or their kits. He felt his paws falter, but he pushed on with all his might. They weren't far now, only a few more tail-lengths ahead. -------- Shade'Feather RainClan Camp Shade'Feather had just finished applying the herbs Rain'Drop had left for him, when Red'Splat scrambled over the edge from the tree to the camp floor. The red and cream tom hurried over to Shade'Feather. "Are you doing alright?" Red'Splat asked, eyeing Shade'Feather's shoulder. Shade'Feather just nodded in response, reaching back to lick the fur flat across his shoulder. "Alright, uh... Grey'Pelt... died." The red tom stated awkwardly. Shade'Feather froze and shuffled to his feet. "When? Just now?" He asked, wincing as he put weight on his leg. "Where's Silver'Moon? -and Tear'Paw's with them right? C'mon, let's go get Silver'Moon." His turned around and slowly made his way across the canopy floor. Red'Splat scurried past. "Silver'Moon! Come quick!" Red'Splat called. (( some of those might be short, kinda cut off the last one so Silver'Moon, or any of the others can come out. Hope this is good, and hopefully at least feels a little consistent despite the gap in uploading.)) (((Also, pretty sure I got them all....))) 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite - RainClan territory Snake'Bite shook her head. Her usually snarky behaviour now completely gone and exchanged with a sad one. "LeafStar, I should have been there. I should have fought next to them, but I was knocked out! Maybe Grey'Pelt would have still been alive if I would have fought with them!? How am I supposed to explain Silver'Moon what happened when I didn't even try fighting for him?..." Defeat rung in her voice as she stuttered along. It was her fault Silver'Moon had lost her mate. She shouldn't have let any of the cats get into a fight! ------------- Tear'Paw - Below RainClan Camp There he stood. Emotionless, almost like a statue. Pain striking him again and again as his heart ached. His father lay next to him. Not breathing, nothing. Just dead. Tear'paw couldn't take his eyes of him. He looked almost peaceful lying there. But Tear'Paw couldn't imagine that it had felt like overcoming peace to die. Not when his breath had quicken shortly before he stopped moving. Not when he had to mutter his last words to him, Tear'Paw, the medicine cat apprentice that had failed him, Grey'Pelt, his own father. "Rain'Drop... why couldn't we help? Why couldn't StarClan spare his life?" His voice was raspy as he spoke, Tears still running down his cheeks and dropping to the floor. ---------------- Proud'Scar - Below RainClan Camp His strong paws brought him forwards as he hurried back shoulder to shoulder with Pebble'Shadow. The blood smell continued and tiny splotches of the colour could be seen on the jungle ground. Although the chirping of animals was usually loud at this time of the day he barely noted anything other than his heart beating. Although he wasn't close to anyone, not having many bonds in the clan, he was worried that one of his clanmates had gotten a fatal injury. Soon enough both toms reached the camp, or atleast the thick tree trunks that carried the woven roof. Shattered he had to notice the motionless body of Grey'Pelt, another warrior laying Below it... "Mousedung! Grey'Pelt?!" The tall cat ran over to the one that lay, using his nose to gently touch the others shoulder. He looked up to see Rain'Drop and Tear'Paw, who didn't seem to do so good. ----------------- Silver'Moon - RainClan Camp The day had gone by slowly and she had only joined one hunting patrol in the early morning. After that and until now she had been resting besides Honey'Fur who could be a little harsh with her words but in general fine to listen to. Silver'Moon enjoyed the chatty warrior as she could close her eyes and listen to her smooth voice. That was until a voice broke through the silence of the camp. It was Red'Splat, a warrior who shouted her name. She jumped up, excusing herself from Honey'Fur who looked angry and ran towards the tom. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Vine’Crawler RainClan Territory Snake’Bite & Leaf’Star Vine’Crawler listened to Snake’Bite’s heart broken words. His head ached, not only from the stinging pain still in his ear, but from something else. He clenched his teeth, anger starting to boil up inside. His paw steps came down harder on the ground. His tail lashed and he snapped. “Yes! You should have been there to fight with us!” He burst out as he stepped forward, to be closer to the two shecats. “How could you have let someone attack you straight out like that! You’re our deputy! You should be the strongest, head held high in battle! Charging and leading us!” Somewhere deep within, he knew he wasn’t mad at Snake’Bite for getting attacked. He was mad at the cat who had done it, and was mad at how much it had made him worried. “Those evil, underhanded, arrogant, pieces of leopard dung!” He cursed, now at the CliffClan cats. “That was not a battle any warrior should have lost a life with! Once I get my claws on them at that gathering, I’ll tear them apart!” He took another step closer, this time more in Snake’Bite’s direction. “You should have been there to fight with us. What will anyone say when they hear that our deputy is so weak that she was knocked out in one hit?!” His words faded to a hiss. ———— Leaf’Star RainClan Territory Snake’Bite & Vine’Crawler Leaf’Star was about to give some reassuring words to Snake’Bite, as best as she could anyhow, but Vine’Crawler jumped in from behind them. Leaf’Star flinched. She hadn’t noticed the tom was following them, having been so focused on her friend. He spitting out angry words, and she wanted to jump in multiple times, tell him to stop, and respect those in higher positions, but there was something about his words that made her feel like she had to think deeper into it. Once he stepped closer to Snake’Bite she realized something. He wasn’t mad at her not fighting, he was mad that something caused her to be in the state of not fighting. She narrowed her eyes at the two cats. Sure, she didn’t think this outburst was what Snake’Bite needed to hear, but maybe this would help her quiet deputy blow off some steam. She just hoped neither cat would go too far. Especially not now, after such a heavy loss. And maybe, just maybe, if Snake’Bite didn’t get caught up in the anger, she could come to the same revelation that Vine’Crawler seemed… protective? Or maybe she was reading to far into it to distract her mind from the loss… ———— Rain’Drop Below RainClan Camp Tear’Paw Rain’Drop’s heart ached for the young cat. He just sounded so broken. “We did the best we could. The Stars have a plan for each of us, and though we may not know it now, we may never know it, there’s a reason for everything. Not even StarClan has all the answers. All I can say now is that we did all we could. We will always do everything we can.” She knew just words couldn’t do much to help the poor kit, she did the best she could. She stayed near, though she couldn’t think of anything else to say. As a medicine cat, she often had these same sorts of questions. The answers were always the same. Some days it felt a little worthless to even try. But she always did. She always had to. It wouldn’t be fair for any cat if she didn’t put her best in everything. A rustling crash announced the appearance of another cat. Rain’Drop looked up as Proud’Scar bounded through the bushes, followed by Pebble’Shadow. Pebble’Shadow himself looked thoroughly sick as he stared down at the motionless body of the warrior. Rain’Drop swallowed hard. “We did the best we could,” She repeated quietly. “Red’Splat is getting Silver’Moon and the rest of camp to bury him.” She explained. Pebble’Shadow swayed on his paws, as he let out a choked sob. Rain’Drop had no doubt he was thinking about Violet’Feather and his kits. He was probably thinking that a few steps off, this would have been him, and it would have been his kits and mate mourning his loss. Rain’Drop wished to go over and give him a bit of comfort, but she had to stay by Tear’Paw’s side. ———— Shade’Feather RainClan Camp Red’Splat , Silver’Moon & Violet’Feather Shade’Feather paused and waited as Silver’Moon came over. Shade’Feather was about to tell her about Grey’Pelt, since Red’Splat was obviously not going to be gentle enough, but the red tom got to it first. “Grey’Pelt’s dead.” Red’Splat told her solemnly. His voice was harshly loud, and it at least seemed to carry across camp in the silence that followed these harsh words. To Shade’Feather it even seemed like the birds stopped singing in the trees. “Tear’Paw and Rain’Drop are already there, I’m so sorry Silver’Moon. I should have told you there was a battle earlier when I came back.” Shade’Feather spoke softly, but he noticed Violet’Feather poke her head out of the nursery. “Rain’Drop requested that we bring the camp down for the burial…” he trailed off, watching Silver’Moon closely. Snake'Bite RainClan territory Leaf'Star & Vine'Crawler ``Thoughts travelled through her head faster than she could understand them, full of doubt and sorrow. She did not hear Vine'Crawler until he came closer, flinching when he stopped the both of them. Heart broken she listened to his harsh words, not interfering. Snake'Bite felt even more embarrassed that she had been knocker out so easily. He was right that the other cats would think of her as weak now, she would have to prove herself again to earn respect. As he finished she stood there for a second, just peacefully gathering her words. Then, it all came down like thunder;`` "Don't YOU think I know how embarrassing it was Vine'Crawler?! Perhaps I'm not good enough as your deputy and you, Vine'Crawler, should take over! Yet I happen to be your deputy and you DARE speak to me like that!? Can't you see I'm trying to deal with the pain that I couldn't save one of my, one of Leaf'Star's Warriors and you couldn't save your clanmate? And surely I also have something against CliffClan cats now but you WILL hold back your claws at the gathering! It's a peaceful time and if you break it... you better don't, then I break you." ``Snake'Bite finished her shouting that came with the rumble of words and stared back at Vine'Crawler. Surely he hated her now. Atleast truely hated her, maybe he had disliked her before but now he must despise her. A tiny piece inside her felt bad, he had fought when she couldn't and it was in his right to criticise her failing. She wasn't the leader, only the deputy... Still her green eyes didn't leave his.`` ---------------- Tear'Paw Below RainClan Camp Rain'Drop, Proud'Scar, Pebble'Shadow ``He nodded, somehow to himself before getting closer to Rain'Drop, burying his muzzle in her fur. It was a little comfort, she had been like a second mother as he joined her from a young age on. His tears began running again as he cried for his father, who had left him too early and for his mother who would find out any second.`` ``Tearpaw had barely noticed the other two toms coming back, Proud'Scar running towards his dad and asking if he was alright. Pain drilled itself far into Tear'Paw's heart just like a thorn. Moments later another rustle came from further up; the other cats, his mother leading them down in a rushed manner...`` --------------------- Silver'Moon Below RainClan Camp Rain'Drop, Tearpaw, Gray'Pelt, others ``It had come down so quickly, she had just been resting and chatting with Honey'Fur and then Red'Splat had shouted something that made her heart stop; Gray'Pelt was dead! Faster than any other car ever she climbed down the tree landing on the soft grass seconds later. Frantically she looked around when she spotted a well known gray pelt lying on the ground.`` "NO... GRAYPELT, NO" ``She ran over to the cat, pressing her ear to his chest, but she couldn't find the usual beat that she hoped so much to find. With fear in her eyes Silvermoon looked at his eyes, they were closed like he was sleeping. But he wouldn't wake up this time. Frantically she began licking his face, hoping to somehow wake him up although she knew he couldn't. She drew away from him, moving slowly back to get to Tearpaw who looked just as beaten with his muzzle in Rain'Drop's fur. She sat down next to him, denying what had happened by shaking her head.`` (I removed proudscar for now cause he was described in my last post so mich, sorry for taking a while!) 0 players like this post! Vine’Crawler RainClan Territory Leaf’Star & Snake’Bite His ears pulled back slowly, showing his growing unease and anger. His eyes widened a little. He felt like kit getting told off. He clenched his jaw, forcing himself to not to lash out, but his pride wouldn’t let him hold back forever. In a mess of words he tried to regain some semblance of dignity. “How could be ever have a peaceful time with those slithering low-lifes! I want to run up to their camp and tear the whole place to the ground! If you hadn’t have been hit like you did I would go there right now and tear those dirty pelts off their rotten bones! We may have lost one warrior, but I guarantee that I’ll make sure they lose so many more! We may have lost one warrior, but I assure you I will do everything to prevent it from every happening again.” He paused, breathing hard and thinking over what he had just said. A sudden extra wave of anger washed over him and he opened his mouth to speak again, only to slam it shut, breaking their eye contact as he stamped his paw on the ground and growled to himself. “Slimy little CliffClan cats… I’ll tear it all…” He muttered to himself under his breath. ——— Leaf’Star RainClan Camp Snake’Bite & Vine’Crawler Leaf’Star’s heart broke a little as Snake’Bite swooped into her reply. She must have missed some of the deeper meaning in Vine’Crawler’s words, but honestly, Leaf’Star wasn’t all that surprised. She doubted that there was actually that meaning hidden there, as the leader she must have just read into the situation too deep. She watched the two, Vine’Crawler seemed embarrassed and resentful, and Leaf’Star could only wait for what might be a terrible fight between her two best fighters. As Vine’Crawler launched into his speech, she was about to cut him off, force peace between the two, but once again, in her calm state of mind she caught every word he said. Her jaw dropped just a bit in her awe. Sure, every word came with a chilling note of resentment and a threat, but there was something oddly comforting to Leaf’Star with every sentence the powerful warrior made. She tried very hard to hold back her grin as she side-eyed Snake’Bite. Who knew there’s be such a thrilling drama right inside her own camp? ——— Rain’Drop Below RainClan Camp Tear’Paw ; Silver’Moon ; Whoever else is there Rain’Drop’s heart broke just a little as the two family members of Grey’Pelt mourned his death. She inhaled slowly, doing her best to remain the calm, level-headed medicine cat they needed her to be. “We did the best we could,” She repeated quietly, sticking to this one phrase. “He fought valiantly, and lived the life of a true warrior." She paused, hesitant. What else should she say? She feared she might say something to make it worse, so she fell silent. She inhaled slowly, and let out the breath. There wasn't much else she could do to help the grieving family. She looked back past the forest where they had originally come from, looking to see if Leaf'Star and Snake'Bite had made their way there yet. Rain'Drop was hoping maybe one of them could say some better words. Just then, Violet’Feather dropped down from the tree. Her eyes immediately went to Pebble’Shadow, but she walked over to Silver’Moon instead, offering some quiet words of comfort. Rain’Drop smiled sadly to herself. The two mothers could comfort each other now, and the medicine cat was sure Violet’Feather could offer better comfort than Rain’Drop ever could, especially since Rain’Drop would never be a mother herself. Pebble’Shadow also moved from Proud’Scar’s side to his mate’s, where he sat silently. ——— Shade’Feather RainClan Camp Any of the cats in camp. Violet’Feather, Red’Splat… After Silver’Moon had left, Shade’Feather stayed behind, not daring to climb down the tree with his injured shoulder. Violet’Feather had come over from the nursery, and asked about what she had heard. Shade’Feather explained to her carefully about the battle, and that he was sure Pebble’Shadow was alright. “He’s probably back below Camp now, you can go see him yourself. They are planning to bury Grey’Pelt soon, and I’m sure they’d like for more of the camp to be present. I can look after your kits while you do, and I’ll ask Horse’Tail and Yarrow’Heart to help.” He offered. “You’d do that?” The queen smiled. “Thank you so much, Shade’Feather.” She turned and quickly made her way down the tree to the others below. “Red’Splat, you should go talk to your brother as well.” Shade’Feather pointed out to the red tom who still sat near. “What about you?” Red’Splat asked. “I’ll be with the elders and the kits, I’ll be fine. Go on now before I shove you down there myself.” The red warrior shivered and scampered off. Shade’Feather made his way slowly over to the elders den and nursery, once again explaining to the elders.
