Something really needs to be done about how easy it is to accept an offer when you intend to decline it.

The best solution I could think of for this problem, is to add a confirmation option when you click to accept.
Example:
* Clicks Accept *
“Are you sure you’d like to -accept- this offer?”

And you are given an option of “Yes,” or “No.”
