Many players keep in their king notes the number of cubs born from their kings in the format: primal - 1 primal ferus- 2 AMP - 10 Citrine base - 3 etc It would be possible to make a window with automatically updated data that would be updated immediately after birth and (important!) would not be reset after the death chasing cubs. Perhaps in this window you can choose which criteria will be displayed on the page, a specific pie or all varieties, a specific base or rarity, etc. Or it will be a button that opens a complete list with the ability to filter. What do you think?) |

I think this would be way too much to store tbh, considering the sheer number of players and amount of possible cubs (many thousands for some kings), and the huge variety of criteria. The amount of non-essential data stored (and frequency of updating) is usually kept minimal to help with server load, as far as I understand it. Since many cubs are killed/chased immediately after birth it would have to be continuously updated in order to be at all accurate, and I don't think that's realistic or maybe even possible at all :( 1 player likes this post! It would be at least so that the killed \ chased cubs will do not disappear from the statistics... It is very inconvenient to check and count them every time...( 0 players like this post! Like? |

Like Myriad said, it would be too much of a server load to store that information. The coding required to constantly check, given how large the userbase is, and how many lions there are (as of typing, well over 5,000,000 total), the servers would either need to be upgraded to handle the data load (which is very expensive), or would slow down the site as people chase and breed their lions. It'd be more inconvenient (and expensive) for the site overall to implement a feature like this than it would be convenient to players to keep active count of what their king produces. The site already gets a lot of lag around the first of every month with the events (at least on my end- after the first few days it tends to go back to normal, so I'm inclined to believe it is a server issue instead of a browser issue)- it'd be even more laggy with the work the site and servers would have to do to keep up with the constant flow of logging every lion in this manner. TLDR; The idea is convenient for some people, but with the work required and the fact the site would have to constantly check for any updates, it would likely crash the site, unfortunately. 0 players like this post!
