Exploration Locations:

The Pastures - If you choose to go explore the the nearby cattle farm in town, you’ll see many cows kept together in pastures. While you have a high chance of finding a calf here, they tend to be your ordinary, stereotypical type of cow. No special genes here! -

The Meadow - If you set off into the countryside, you’ll notice some smaller grazing herds of cows. The herds travel within two days, though, so there’s a chance of finding some cows with varied traits! Cows within the same herd tend to look similar, you notice. -

The Dairy Farm - In the outer parts of town, a large dairy farm sits atop a hill. Often times, though it is the brutal truth, this farm has no use for the male calves that are born in this facility. Luckily, this farm agreed to give up some of these calves to anyone who can pay them a decent sum of money. While most calves here are male, some unwanted females are able to be be found on occasion. Maybe you’ll be able to gain one’s trust? -

The Outskirts - The outskirts is far from the country, just outside the main city. When you decide to go here, it may be hard to find a cow...but when you do, they are often being sold for a reason. While the conditions prove to be questionable, will rescuing the confused and scared calves here be worth it? -

gives you a higher chance of finding a cow in explore.

Magic Stone:
When used, your desired calf will change its sex! However, there’s no turning back once used...

Cool Water:
How refreshing! This item will be able to calm any anxious calf, making them more susceptible to following you home.

Common Rope:
After taming a new calf to join your herd, using this item will persuade them to bring a random item along with. This item only loses a use if you choose to use it AFTER finding a calf in explore.

Golden Rope:
In interactive explores, this item will raise your chances of finding two calves in explore by a significant amount. Has the chance to bring in an item when used.

Lucky Rabbit’s Foot:
Guarantees a new calf will follow you home.

Premade calves will not have an explore encounter and do not need to be persuaded. They’ll typically be an auction style but on special occasions, certain calves will be listed as a flat sale!
