HOW TO: PvP for Territory |
---|
First things first: stats (including skill) are important to determine the winner in PvP fights.
The defending player also always gets a slight buff, so you want to have as many more stats than them as possible. If you only have a handful more than the person you attack, it's very likely you won't win.
The best way to find players with low stats that you can easily beat is via Search. I would 100% recommend that method, rather than just randomly clicking around tiles on the Territory page.
Here's screenshots showing how to use Search to sort by lowest stats:
Step 1: go to Crossroads and click on Search:
Step 2: make sure you check the 'Main Male' box (circled) and change the level dropdown to 'Exactly'. Then put in the level 2 below your own current level. As shown here mine is 22, so I've searched for 20. This is the lowest level you can attack. Then scroll down and click the 'Search' button at the bottom:
Step 3: once you've run the search, scroll down to the results. At the top is a dropdown box which by default has 'Recently active' selected. Click on this and instead choose 'Stats (asc)', and then click the 'Sort' button:
Step 4: you can see the results are now ordered so the player with the lowest stats is shown first. Click any of these names to go to their territory:
Step 5: scroll down their territory page to find the 'Attack This Lion' section (below caves). Then change the dropdown selection to 'Territory', and click the 'Attack' button:
NOTE: each player can only be attacked for territory once per rollover. If the Territory option is not there, that means this player has already been attacked for it by somebody today.
Just keep looking until you find someone who is eligible. Obviously lots of other players are doing the same thing, so you may need to go quite a long way through the list in Search, especially if you're looking late in the day
You can also build up your own stats, so that there are more players lower than you, such as by playing the baoball game (Crossroads > Games). That gives 2-4 stats daily for free, which all adds up.
Extra tip (thanks Harv for suggesting!): if you're still having trouble winning, it may be best to search for opponents with specifically lower skill than you. Skill plays a significant part in PvP - even if your stats overall are a bit higher than your opponent their higher skill could be a problem.
So you can also input a maximum skill value when you search. Bear in mind you will also need to repeat Step 3 (sort results by lowest stats) again *after* adding in any extra search term like this. This is how you add a maximum skill amount:

Thanks to Harv #350256 for suggesting an addition - that you can sometimes benefit from searching for kings that specifically have lower skill than you, not just lower stats total. This is especially useful if your king is new and still has very low skill. Depending on your circumstances, you may want to search for just less than your own skill, or use an arbitrary low(ish) number (e.g. 20, 100, etc). Whatever brings up a good amount of results and works for you, really! The guide has been edited to add the following:

Sorry, I don't speak German but if google translate is correct you're asking where the territory you won is?
You can always see on your den page your current territory number, as circled in red in this screenshot:
And circled in blue is your current total number of lionesses. The maximum number of lionesses you can have is the same as the amount of territory you have.
So right now you have 3 territory spaces and 2 lionesses, meaning you can get a maximum of 1 more lioness :) You have liked this post!
