It seems worth noting a lot of those have a "spot" marking and an under-type marking specifically for the inverted rosettes. Fawn is common on these parents, as well as Vit and Leg Spotting-type marks.

The only outlier is this one but the mom has Crackle I guess.

edit: Haha, well I scryed a Fawn mother (Ritual to be specific) and a Cinnabar Luster dad with no other spot markings at all that I could find and ended up scrying an Inverted Rosette Gold, but not a Shaded one.

edit2: I got an Inverted Soft Rosette White from the Noctis Shaded Rosette parents.

I didn't spot the fawn/spots/unders combo but I did notice the prevelance of vitiligo - good catch!

Also very interesting that the NShR parents scried a ISRW - the bushveld rosette research thread findings seems to suggest that bushveld is related to green hued bases, but in this case neither parent have either a white or black hued base. It might just be that these particular lions had the right requirements to throw both Shaded Rosettes and Inverted Soft Rosettes?

I've got a bunch of sb sitting around so I'm gonna go scry another set of the parents and see if this seems to be a common occurance or if it's just this one pair o:

King x Markingless 100(+/-) Scries:

Random Gold Rosette! But I'm not that surprised, honestly. My kings usually have the same marking types (Vitiligo, Margay, Unders,) and I usually get 1 - 3 regular, inverted, or soft/heavy random rosettes during their reign. x)

I've used 2 random vit bomb lions for a bit to scry (around 100 scries) and i have found none

I'll keep trying but maybe having a blotches/vitiligo mark isn't the only requirement if it is one

I scried my lion and lionesses a bunch and got nothing so far. Will do updates later. This is what I got from this thread/personal experience/wiki though! Maybe it'll help

It seems a lot of rosette markings like to chill in marking 6. maybe shaded is the same way and its most common location is 6. We'll have to scry more and see. If 6 is one of the top slots though, that might help us be able to narrow down the breeding playing field.
Sorry if this doesn't help in the slightest. I'm still generally new to the game and suck with markings lol. I was just hoping that this might help someone or give someone new ideas

I noticed none of the cubs I scried have Bandit Feline. Could just be a coincidence but I'm going to scry some more with her just in case it isn't.

Edit: My king x same lioness Gonna keep going until I run out of or it throws it with Bandit Feline...



Edit: Which Feline # IS Bandit Feline? I can never keep them straight...

(I know that some of the ones that were born didn't have parents with feline, but this bothers me so I'm just gonna chase it in case it's one of the factors.)

@.@ over 300 Scries later and only a Slot 16: Inverted Soft Rosette Silky. I've still got some so I'll update if I get another from this go around.

Edit: Out of , didn't get anything else, well, except some nice looking cubs. Will try again once I get more later on. Tempted to scry her to her son since he also shares a few of her marks...

THere are two Bushvelds. One was born from a Citron parent, as we've come to expect; but the other has no green anywhere on its parents.

edit: Shaded Rosette Brown from two "NCL" parents. Mom is Chocolate with Chert Cover and Brown Gradient 1 and the dad is Light Golden with Henna Back Hair, Clay Cowl and Dark Brown Half.

I'm still pretty certain the criteria of rosettes is "they're random lol"
