I am newish to this game and I was setting up my pride for the next king. I thought for some reason the king retires at 6 years (I have no idea where I got that number from)  After waiting a bit with anticipation to replace the old king with this one: https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794180760220 I just found out today that the kind retires at around 15-16  And I created two options for myself that I need help picking. Option one: I have been selling art and earned around 13 GBS. I spend 10 GBS and I get the next heir and am left with 3 GBS. Option two: I wait, gender change the heir with a GB and breed my lions with other players' kings, and hope I get a better heir by the time the old king retires. What should I do? You can't sex change your current heir if that's what you're referring to, as he is 1) too old - max is 3 years, and 2) mutated lions cannot be sex changed as adults. But, if you do end up waiting until your current king is able to retire and king your heir, he will revert to 8 years old rather than the age he would be at that time. 0 players like this post! Up to you! I replaced my first king around the same age yours is, but then I was stuck with a new king that I ended up not liking after a while :v 0 players like this post! Like? |

Everyone on this game has different tastes, so I can't really answer that for you ^^; The Ebony base is good if you like breeding combo bases like Elysian or Soul, and his color scheme is soft and somewhat pleasing. Though, I usually tend to prefer bold, high contrasting markings - you can look at my queen for reference there x) There is also the matter of his heritage being inbred. Not a big deal if it doesn't matter to you, but if some time down the line you decide to breed clean, you'll have to probably start over and remove a decent chunk of your pride. I only mention it because it happened to me after my hiatus, haha 0 players like this post! Like? |

Unfortunately yes. A large portion of the community will only buy and breed clean lions, so dirty ones tend to be priced lower to appeal to the people who don't care about heritage. You can breed a dirty lion from two clean ones, but you can't breed a clean lion from a dirty one ^^ Indecisiveness isn't a bad thing, and it's good to weigh all your options before spending money! :D I'm indecisive as hell also, but I keep changing my mind after spending a fortune, lol 0 players like this post! I think I'm going to wait and breed my lions with other kings; I don't mind having a dirty pride. Thank you so much for the advice!
