Are you in need of a name for a lion/lioness and you can’t decide on anything? I’m here to help! I love researching about a lot of things and have used that to name many lions in this game (mine and other’s) and even helped name two kings ^^. However I’ll do a maximum of 4 names per account. This doesn’t mean that you can’t ask for more names or that I won’t help with other lions of your pride. I’ll give you between 3 to 6 names for each lion and if you ask for more names I’ll be happy to come up with more. Once I give you the first names you’re more than welcome to come back and ask for more lions! If you need help naming your new cubs, your lionesses or even your heir, comment their link and your preferences in regards of names (example: WindLife (two words together), Wind’s Life (“phrase names”), Zephyr, etc). If unsure i’ll try to find a mix of names :) I tend to look for historic or cultural meanings to a name so if there’s anything, litera anything, you would like for me to have in mind, don’t hesitate to mention it! Some examples of names I’ve come up with/ found: - Asherah: after a canaanite goddess symbolized by doves after the player mentioned liking birds and historic related names. - Tyche: after a variation of the etymology of the danube river, culturally connected with acts of cremation after the player mentioned considering ash related names. - Revenge on Seattle: after the song by nirvana (one of my dads fav bands) - Hinrace: a mix of horace, a poet creator of the purple prose, and the color indigo, bc she’s kinda purple - Paradise Lost: a discarded option for my new king’s name - Corlys: after corlys velaryon, one my fav characters in hotd (so you can ask for show/character inspired names too) I just finished my exams so i see myself having more free time to play here and it shouldn’t take me more than a day if you have a set concept of what you want It’s important to know that I’m 8 hours ahead of LD time. 1 player likes this post! Terrinthia: All lovely ladies!! I came up with 3-5 names each but please tell me if you would like for me to come up with more and i’ll completely understand ^^ First: - Via Maris: an important highway to the Ancient Egyptians, Assyrians, Jews and Ottomans part of a caravan route that crossed the Daughters of Jacob Bridge where some of the earliest known traces of controlled fire by humans were found. - Vesta: Sacred fire of Vesta was a sacred eternal flame in ancient Rome. Vesta was the goddess of the hearth, home, and family in Roman religion. She had a festival named the Vestalia. - Surya: a secondary chakra meaning sun that is located at the solar plexus, whose role is to absorb and assimilate Prana (life force) from the sun. Second: - Agape: means love in modern-day Greek. The term s'agapo means I love you in Greek. The word agapo is the verb I love. It generally refers to a "pure," ideal type of love, rather than the physical attraction suggested by eros. However, there are some examples of agape used to mean the same as eros. It has also been translated as "love of the soul." - Ars Amatoria: a dating guide written by Ovid that translates into The Art of Love. - Hafiz: was a Persian lyric poet, and considered an icon of the passion and love that the Persian culture and language present. - Dianthus: a genus of flowering plants such as “pinks” (danthius plumarius) from which the color pink is named after. - Child of Morning: “child of morning, rose-fingered dawn” part of a poem written by Homer about dawn Third: - Deuil’s Heart/ Deuil’s Flight: A group of doves is called a "dule", taken from the French word deuil ('mourning'). - Inanna: the Mesopotamian goddess of love, sexuality, and war, often represented by doves. - Genesis: a song by Grimes that reminded me of her when I saw her. - Moon’s Valley: El Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon) is located in Chile in the Atacama Desert.water. It has an impressive range of color and texture, looking somewhat similar to the surface of the moon. (Recommend looking for pictures when it’s dawn or dusk bc it’s very pretty) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 21/02/23 @ 01:09:32 by Allyria [they/she] (#354563) |

Alexx #379539: literally in love with them, they’re so cute I included 3-4 names each so please do tell me if you would like more names and I’ll be more than happy to help :) First: - Night’s Plums: from the word apricot which was derived from alberoc (catalan) and al-barqūq (arabic) meaning “the plums” and night because of her velvet base. - Pearl of Venice: related to the baroque movement, particularly in Venice, where jewelry were a common aspect of it, especially pearls. - Ghost in the Machine: a term originally used to describe and critique the notion of the mind existing alongside and separate to the body, related to spirituality in philosophy. - Ushas: a Vedic goddess of dawn in Hinduism. Second: - Neverland’s Dream: a fictional island where Peter Pan and the Lost Boys live. Can be used as a pun since the Lost Boys are famously known to refuse to grow up. - Déjà Vu: the phenomenon of feeling as though one has lived through the present situation before. - Minerva: is the Roman goddess of wisdom, justice, law, victory, and the sponsor of arts, trade, and strategy. 0 players like this post! Pandora #247005: Very pretty lady and I love how her mutation makes her look so dreamy :) I came up with these 4 names that mostly went with a earthy concept but I can look for others in case you want to change it First: - Gaia: is the personification of the Earth and one of the Greek primordial deities. - Amalur: was the goddess of the earth in the religion of the ancient Basque people - Amarylis: a beautiful flower that symbolizes love, beauty, and determination; Amaryllis can also represent hope and achievement. - Silesia: is a historical region of Central Europe that lies mostly within Poland, with small parts in the Czech Republic and Germany. It’s recognized as the place where the Vandals (germanic people) first settled in. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 21/02/23 @ 08:27:05 by Allyria [they/she] (#354563) |

I legit changed a base and added 1 marking. i would like a gon pun thats somehow related to her looks? I've also been debating naming her after a stone that looks similar, such as jasper, stromatolite, chiastolite, tourmaline, or tiger's eye(sadly a bit on the nose). 0 players like this post! Like? |

Pepperblossom #377140: It took me more time to find unique names for the second one bc i didn’t want to just slap a “ice queen” thing but I hope you like these ones. I’m not completely sure if they’re the best I could come up with but I’m sure that if I research with more time I can come up with better ones :) First: - Venus’ Altar: Venus is regarded as a symbol of femininity, love and prosperity and has various personifications like Aphrodite (greek). Cherry blossoms are known symbols of the fleeting nature of life and so, I thought that including Alter would symbolize it as where time is sacred and love is preserved. - With Grace, Demise: a little darker but I found that some orchids can produce a “death” scent to attract flies that will carry pollen with them. Grace came from the fact that some historical and charismatic figures are depicted with orchids in their representations. Charisma has roots in “with God’s gift/grace”. - Heart’s Dimple: more silly but still meaningful. After the asian bleeding heart which is considered a symbol of good luck and dimples for the proverb “A dimple in your cheek/Many hearts you'll seek”. Second: - Glacial Promise: referring to the the body of dense ice that is constantly moving under its own weight (maybe symbolizing independence and determination). Promise came from the Green Promise Farms Pieris, a flower that is associated with happiness and purity. - Moon Avalanche: An avalanche is a rapid flow of snow down a slope, such as a hill or mountain. I tried to make it sound as elegant (Moon) and deadly (avalanche) as possible. Mainly based on her base and markings. Third: - Lion(‘s) Heart: from Leonhart Fuchs, a botanist who was honored by Charles Plumier for having discovered/named the flower Fuchsia. - Love(r) Crowned: inspired by one of my favorite paintings “The Lover Crowned” by Jean-Honoré Fragonard depicting a young man being crowned by his lover in a garden. - Nilufar of Art: it doesn’t make much sense grammatically wise but I think it sounds cool. Nifular Abi (in persian) is Nelumbo nucifera - more commonly known as the Lotus Flower. In asian art a lotus throne is the normal pedestal for divine figures in Buddhist art and Hindu art, and is often seen in Jain art. 0 players like this post! Like? |
