· If one of the parents, such as the lioness, has a marking (margay in this case), there will be a chance for the cub to inherit that marking. Both parents do not need to have the marking for it to occur on the cub.

· There will not be a difference between the mutation chance of lionesses found in the wild or lionesses born into your pride. The only difference would be their fertility of the lionesses, with 'very low fertility' slightly improving the chances of a mutation occurring. This chance is very small though, roughly 2%? So it's not the best strategy to rely on if you want mutated cubs. It's best to buy items (such as cotton root bark from the oasis) to up your mutation chances.

· Inbreeding has no ingame effect. Having clean/non-inbred lions is simply player preference, and thus may increase the value/attraction of your lions if you maintain a clean non-inbred pride.

About the actual cub situation, it'd probably be better to keep the cubs with better bases/markings. Stats are a bit trivial and don't improve the worth of a lion too much unless they have very high stats (1k+).

Any of the bases that have ties to hybrids are rare because they are difficult to pass.

So Kimanjano and Mandarin would be two of the rarest. They are worth a lot because they are so rare.
