Adult Mutatons
|
---|
Some cubs are born with a hidden secret! Adult mutations are special in that from birth a cub may appear completely normal but once they hit a certain age, the mutation appears!
You can check for the presence of adult mutations by offering 60 to the Falcon's Eye, who'll reveal whether a cub is mutated or not with the following alerts:
When a mutation is detected:
The mutated cub is then tagged with the following identifier on their page:
When a mutation is not detected:
The non-mutated cub is then tagged with the following identifier on their page:
The falcon's eye's check simply an early warning syetem to let you know a cub will reveal its mutation later. It is not neccesary to a cub with the falcon's eye in order for an adult mutatuion to occur, as mutations are decided on conception.
Unrevealed adult mutations do not count towards the total mutie counter in your den. If you have a 'lost' mutie, checking all cubs in the falcons eye will not solve the problem!

Double Uterus
|
---|
Also known as DU, Double uterus is a female exclusive mutation that gives the lioness some special abilities when breeding. Most importantly, double uterus muties produce double the number of cubs natural to other lionesses. This means if instead of one cub, she would produce two, instead of two cubs she would produce four, instead of three cubs, a DU would produce six and instead of four cubs, a DU would produce four cubs. Because of this, she will always produce an even number of cubs!
The second mechanic unique to DUs is their ability to breed to two different males before giving birth! After the first breeding, the number of cubs is set in stone & all mutation items used on the lioness are applied to those cubs.
After this, you have the option to breed to a second stud, overwriting 50% of the cubs with the new stud's genes. This second breeding is completely optional and will not impact the number of cubs whatsoever, so using a buffalo scrotum during the second breed would waste the item. Additionally, any mutation items or ochre gnawrocks used during the first breeding will not effect the overwritten cubs, so a second set of items would be required if this route is chosen.
It is one of three adult mutations that can be posed, both during nesting and with the use of female poses.
It cannot be passed onto cubs without the use of a lion scrotum. Lionesses with this mutation have no increased chances of producing mutated cubs than a non-mutated lioness.
Using a lion scrotum on a lioness with this mutation will result in a 5% chance to pass her mutation onto cubs, unlike the usual 25% pass chance other mutations recieve from the lion scrotum.

Overgrown Fur
|
---|
Overgrown fur is a female exclusive mutation that produces long fur along the whole body. It's the only adult mutation that can be applied using a Mutie on Demand, requiring an adult female target to successfully be applied.
Mutie on Demand: Overgrown Fur
Lionesses with this mutation cannot be posed, either during nesting or through the use of female poses.
This mutation is unique in that it is also the only adult mutation that can pass naturally. Its reccomended that any female cub born to an overgrown fur lioness should be checked for adult mutations at the Falcon's Eye as there is a small chance she recieved the mutation herself. Male cubs of overgrown fur mothers have no boosted chances of recieving any mutation.
