Wildwood :
"an uncultivated wood or forest that has been allowed to grow naturally."

I adore green bases, but haven't seen one with the certain brighter fantastical charm I've been looking for. Along with that, my favorite base has always been Goridhe, and I've always wished there was a proper use for it asides from looking pretty.
So naturally,, I had to combine those two concepts. Fairy-themed prides and cottagecore lovers come get your juice.

Wildwood is a more saturated, warm green, orange, and brown combo base, primarily designed to fit a brighter more whimsical, enchanted aesthetic, with brighter shines of orange in the brown and slight sparkles falling from the brighter green.
It's intended to be a Gold Medium Countershaded special base, just like Bushveld and in the same category as Goridhe!

It was partially made through layering, and partially independently drawn and added.
(Shown with Chamotte eyes)

Here it is with markings and the Natural piebald mutation!

The markings in order (Top to bottom) Are:
Ginger Freckles 2 (90%)
Mottled Stripes (80%)
Gold Brindle (30%)
Firey Bottom (100%)
Feline 2 Gold (90%)

As stated at the beginning, Wildwood, if implemented, would be a combo base. More specifically between:

Bushveld

X

Goridhe

Now, although the primary factors are Bush and Goridhe, some other ideas for additional factors could be:
Next to Bushveld: Olive, Murk, Moss Agate, Senegal

Next to Goridhe: Damu, Maziwa, Fulvous, Honey (Suggested by #98320), Topaz, Dandelion

So it'd probably look more like this:

Bushveld, Olive, Murk, Moss Agate, Senegal

X

Goridhe, Damu, Maziwa, Fulvous, Honey, Topaz, Dandelion

Here are some comparisons between Wildwood and other green bases, as well as it next to it's primary factors!

If you made it this far, thank you for reading through all of this, and I hope you enjoyed!

Support! The shine near the shoulders is gorgeous, and I agree that Goridhe needs some love. I'm a sucker for anything green/green bases and the brown looks great. The name suits it :)

Oh my god I love this and I don't even ever like greens this is just effervescent

I would also add Honey on the goridhe side just bc that brings to mind honeybush flowers to me

I think it should be that bush x goridhe has the highest chances to produce Wildwood, since that was the first two bases that made you think of Wildwood

I agree! ^^ The other factor ideas are primarily just in the hypothetical case that it's not a one on one combo- Otherwise those two are the main factors!

I definitely think it would need more than just bushveld × goridhe since both bases are BO already ;-; bases similar to that are significantly less in number, especially Squall for example, there's only 89 of them in game over the span of multiple years because it's so much of a hassle to breed. The factors dont have to be applicator ones, but I think It needs those other options to not become another Squall situation.

That's the exact reason I added that section- I only fully realized that they were both BO after making the base,, so I tried my best to find alternative factors to try and level it out!

I really like this idea!
I love soft green tones
I think it would make itself very good as a mane color too!
