HYPERTELORISM (WIDE SPACED EYES) & OTHER CRANIAL ANOMALIES Facts about the mutation: Hypertelorism (wide-spaced eyes) can be developmental or due to an underlying disease. Some cats with very wide spaced eyes/broad noses may have cleft palates. Some cats with abnormally wide-spaced eyes have no health issues. a vet can arrange blood-testing for diseases known to cause this trait. Many cases have no issues beyond the cosmetic. In cats with a lysosomal storage disease, hypertelorism occurs in combination with other facial anomalies such as small ears, short nose, depressed bride of nose, prominent forehead and with skeletal and ioint issues. These diseases usually shorten lifespan, depending on severitv βββββββββββ- If your lion births the cub it will have a birth achievement like βoh... Thats strange, the cubs eyes is a little spaced out? Welp, I guess it will be fine" (idea by πΈNyiπΈ {2x Rosette/Tobiano} ) NAME] seems a bit different to other cubs. It has a squished face and nose but it isnβt severe. Hopefully it will be fine! - A cub strolls up to [NAME] and boops them on the nose, wondering why they look different. They let out a growl and the cub properly scampers off.( idea by π OMINOUSπ² | (MAIN) #237810) How the mutation would look on the lions might need little more work but itβs all I have for now βββββ βββββ ββββ- βββββ- βββββ- βββββ Other topics of mine art comms base idea ( sorry if pics are small I try to make them bigger it doesnβt work ) |
