Hi! I am interested to know with what probability the markings are inherited during breeding. For example, I have a lioness with leonid feline in slot 8, and I have feline 7 elysian in slot 8, if I remove my marking, will this increase the chances of inheriting leonid markings? 0 players like this post! You may find this helpful. <3 "Matching markings : 75% chance the cub will inherit that marking Different markings : 50% chance the cub will inherit " If you're breeding for a specific mark, and only care about ensuring it will pass, always make sure the other parent has an empty slot there to prevent any heartache with an applicator mark overriding breed-only. Unless you want to try for higher average marking slot counts of the cubs, having a random marking in a slot you're trying to breed a specific marking into will only hurt you because it has a chance of overriding the marking you want. If you remove slot8 fel7elysian, it will guarantee that the cub inherits the lioness' slot8 if the cub is rolled with a marking in slot 8. But, the cub will have a greater chance to have a marking in Slot 8 if both parents have a matching marking in slot 8. So although it will guarantee that Leonid feline will pass from the parents if the cub rolls a marking in that slot (unless a random rosette rolls into that slot, I suppose xD), of course it won't guarantee that the cub has slot8 at all. Phrased differently: If the cub rolls a marking in slot 8, the only way to increase the chance of having the Leonid mark roll into that slot is to either remove your male's slot 8 (guaranteeing the lioness' mark will pass) or have matching slot 8 Leonid marks. I hope this helps! <3 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 07/03/23 @ 03:58:38 by ❂ SiRah [ Online. ] (#159527) |
