Any breed that REQUIRES traits that aren't in the genetics guide is off-limits. So for example the Fantail can't be used because having a big peacock-like tail is required, Frillbacks can't be used because they have curly feathers, Archangels can't be used because they require bronzing, etc. Plus any kind of pouter, or anything that requires piebald also go outside the guide. I know this is kind of limiting and I'm working on adding more traits.

But outside of that you can ask for anything. I like to use this website because it has pretty much any breed you can think of compiled into a nice little gallery. Please note if using that site that they a) don't include the breed standard, just an example of the breed and b) most of the birds displayed are show champions and aren't necessarily a representative of how strict the standard is. So just because a pictured bird has traits not in the guide, that doesn't mean those traits are necessary for its breed.

If you're feeling overwhelmed scrolling through the gallery, try looking for keywords in the breed name. Birds from breeds bred primarily for performance like homers, tipplers, tumblers, rollers, and anything with "flight" or "flyer" usually have lax standards for appearance.

Alright! Would the Galician Highflier work? If not I can keep looking! Or the Kazaner or Lahore? I'm struggling a little, if none of those work would you be able to recommend one?

So I have not been able to find a breed standard for a Galician (AKA Russian or Polish?) Highflier but that should work I think? I probably can't find a breed standard because of language barrier. From what little I can find I'm hearing that there is at least one variety of them that only allow the "ice" gene so that may be why all the pictures of them I'm finding are of white/gray mutated birds. They probably allow birds that don't have the ice gene, and beyond that they're pretty standard looking pigeons so I would allow it.

Lahore is off-limits currently because of their bicolor mutation, Kazaner is fine.
