I was scrolling the help forums, as I do to try and get info and learn. I saw a post about mutations and they said that primals can only be born if the dad is some variation of piebald. I'm confused because I could have sworn I've had primals born randomly with non mutated parents but now I'm assuming I must. Be remembering incorrectly

So is this true? Is primal not a mutation that can also randomly occur?

Then how do you breed for the more rare primals? Like felis smilus or Ferus, minus the mukombero

primal isn't a mutation that happens randomly

only ferus lions can produce other ferus lions, with the exception of a muk
other primal variants can all produce each other besides primal fangs

from the wiki:
Basic Primal kings can produce cubs that are basic Primal, Primal (Felis), Primal (Smilus), and Primal Fangs.
Primal (Felis) kings can produce cubs that are basic Primal, Primal (Felis), Primal (Smilus), and Primal Fangs.
Primal (Smilus) kings can produce cubs that are basic Primal, Primal (Felis), Primal (Smilus), and Primal Fangs.
