I love Wolvden !! I payed for early access and spend just as much time on there as i do here, Probably more actually :) It is similar to lioden in some aspects.. But also quite different too. The breeding genetics work a bit differently on wolvden but i honestly prefer it. Also the SB/GB rates ( It's pinecones over there) are different because currency has a different value and items etc.. Are priced differently. You have to remember that Wolvden is still fairly new and Lioden is 10 years old, So there is still a lot of things being added to Wolvden that Lioden has already established. It's worth having a go, If you don't like it, Just don't play it again :) If you need a guide to help you , I am happy to take you under my wing, I'm Elderorca over there too , My pack is called HuskyWolf Hybrids (You can probably guess what kind of wolves i breed lol)

Only join Wolvden if you like hard challanges; because its difficulty level is much higher than Lioden, you will need to put considerably more work into it, and at times, it can be stressfull keeping up with it due to all the difficulties you need to overcome.

Personally, I love Wolvden, and I don't really find it particularly difficult necessarily, just that its mechanics are different.

One thing you could say that is more "difficult" than Lioden, though, is that you cannot "stat replace" a leader. You must pick an entirely new one every time. No keeping your looks. (Unless you've managed to obtain a clone of your leader somehow, of course)

Another thing people may consider more challenging is the fact that hunts fail significantly more often and you actually have to train your hunters. However, I personally find this engaging, and I also find that you get a lot of food from exploring and as long as your pack isn't too large I don't think it's too difficult to keep them fed. Your wolves can also get sicknesses, though most are non-fatal and are more of an annoyance. These are also cured relatively easily and there are people that will help you if you're struggling. Keep in mind that your lead wolf cannot die from anything but old age as well.

Wolvden does have events, but there are only three (excluding the monthly Lunar event). Matchmaker (which you just missed), Cataclysm, and Coigreach.

It is not in early access and you can sign up whenever you wish.

Oh, and Snake Quests are significantly better in Wolvden and actually fun to do imo.

Wolvden is great. But as others have said is a bit more difficult especially since wolves can get sick. The economy is way different. There isn’t many events as of yet but the ones they do have are really fun and engaging! I tend to only log in during lunar and other site events so far. But hope to be more active as time goes on. As other said it’s best to keep a smaller pack especially when just starting out as it will be easier to manage till you get the feel of things with the game!

Customization is roughly the same. I did notice, though, that marking applicators (the ones from the Oasis... or Grove as WD calls it) do not let you pick your opacity, which is rather odd but marking opacity changers are super cheap.

Redeem codes? I don't believe so. I'm actually not even sure if WD has a referral system but I assume it does.

Forums are mostly the same, but better "quality" if that makes any sense. Wolvden uses the newer codebase that Lioden will eventually be switched to, so forums have more ease-of-use options including an actual quote option.

Oh, I do want to let you know. Things that cost gold beetles (cones on WD) will seem WAY more expensive to you at first, until you learn that it's actually $10 for 40 gold instead of $10 for 20 gold like Lioden.
