So these are basically just sock puppets but like...in a drink glass or something.

You can go to a VERY exclusive club called the Sock Puppet Soup, once you are in the club you can tell the bartender there to give you "the house special" the bartender then goes and makes a drink and the unique part about these drinks is that they have a special ingredient that attracts these creatures that are called (you guessed it) sock puppets. Different types of drinks attract different sock puppets.
