So, my heir is 1 year and 3 months while my current king is 15 years and 3 months meaning my heir turns into an adult the same day my old king is forced to retire.

Question is: Will my heir get the stat gain from cub training when my king retires or will he follow the rules of kinging a cub/adolescent that being no stat gain

I am not sure, I believe the rollover happens first and then retirement, so he SHOULD get his stat gain

But Id advise playing it safe and just aging him with Aging Crystal as soon as he's done his adolescent training. He will then become adult before your king retires, and it doesnt make any difference to his king age because he will anyway be aged up to 3 years once he is kinged. If you get a few days to patrol him as an adult, that will be some extra stats to him as well!
