Having a busy bee personality, Ophelia is not a lioness you will often find sitting idly by when there are things to be done. She is stubborn and a bit of a perfectionist at heart, while also being cautious and inherently distrustful of most things. As such, she can be wary and reserved upon first meeting, but does have a friendly and almost motherly disposition once she warms up to you.
As the prides Queen, she takes her job very seriously. She is gentle at her core, but also determined and even quite forceful when it comes to seeing to everyone's well-being.

She is the type to never forgive and never forget; she holds her grudges and will always enact on them. She feels as though that she was been wronged by her mother, and believes she can do much better than her, along with everyone else in the world. A great ego with many skills and strengths to pass it out— ‘when the bully is talented,’ is basically her. Looks down on those seen as ‘lesser’ than her. She believes that rich should get richer and the poor should stay poor to keep her position of power. Selfish.

Those who become close enough with her are either just as vain or someone she knows and shares much of her life with— and those who see her true side often choose to leave rather than to stay by her side, although she treats those who stay in lavish and rich environments, with a certain fondness that a collector would have over their collections. Unlike those who leave her or betray her, she does not hurt her loved ones, and, in fact, strays away from any form of harm,, although she still isn’t the best of people.

Her birth was seen as a blessing to the pride, something celebrated, even. Although her mother seemed to resent her, or that’s at least how Dahlia saw it. Growing up, she began to resent her mother, which grew to the rest of her family, making her strive to be even better than them. Soon, as she exhibited skills comparable to be above all others, her ego grew, and she began to look down on all other people, wanting to take things for herself and thought that she could make a better world than the gods had done— this is the mindset she has grown into even now.

Personality:
To some, Taka may come off as cold and unfriendly, and while he may often be both of these things at times, those that dare to call him a friend know that he is also very loyal, and protective. He is also quite curious by nature, and loves to learn new things. When you need him, even when you don’t think you do, he will be there and will always have your back. He is not made of stone, though you will most likely never see him hurting, for he is much too proud to let his raw emotions be seen freely, and considers those that do to be weak willed.
While he may have a temper that can erupt like a volcano, he is not quick to judge, but definitely knows how to hold a grudge, and second chances are not something he believes in. All in all, you may find Taka to be just too much to handle, but if you give him a fair chance, and try not to be put off by his strong personality, you just might come to love him.

Appearance: A large, ebony furred brute, with white unders. He has faint white stripes and spotting that mark his face, sides, legs, and hindquarters. His mane is thick and long, starting out black on top, before fading into white at the bottom, a nice contrast to his pale blue eyes. He is not quite as muscular as most males, having more of a sleeker look to him. Don't make the mistake of underestimating him though, for he can still pack quite a powerful punch with wickedly sharp, overgrown claws.

Personality:
Typically, those who encounter Hercuperion for the first time are very caught off-guard, but he doesn’t take it personally as he knows that he sports scars and his eyes are rather… unique… Though, he doesn’t really take into account just how striking he is as he can be a little oblivious to it. Considering his size, strength, and vitality at his age, it’s not uncommon for rumors to have circulated over the years of the mysterious past of the King - more so what are the secrets behind the impressive gold and black pieces he ritualistically wears every day. If you’re brave enough to ask, you’ll get a secretive deep chuckle from the piebald king and response of, “it’s a long story.”

At times he can be observant to a fault and lapse into a long silence, lost in his thoughts and strategies that always hold the future of his pride and the lands that make up his family’s home safe and plentiful. Coming from as harsh of an environment as he had been raised in, it’s either develop a rather tactician-like mindset or suffer wasting away under the blazing Sun and sand with scorpions crawling over your bones… There’s a reason why ‘Merciful’ is tied to his name, but never confuse this with ‘foolish’ or you’ll find that he’s after less patient or candid as he pins you like a bug with those burning eyes.

Appearance: My current king - he more on the broad side though not as large as any Primal lion. He’s certainly very fit for his age, but his age still shows in a bit of grey around his whiskers and the ache he gets in his bones just before the rainy season.

Backstory: Born and raised in the desert by a pride-less mother, he was brought to an old temple half buried in the sands that eventually became their home. She taught him everything she could able life in the desert and spoke of history and tales of great lions, empires, and the gods that once were worshipped by both lion and man before falling to the sands of time. Hercuperion became fascinated by all of his as a young cub and strived to learn more and mode himself into a lion that would make the past and his ancestors proud. He focused harder on his with the passing of his mother and the discovery of what the temple really was - or rather who it belonged to - when the lands started quaking and the sky grew dark with the scent of snakes and doom. He still makes journeys to Anubis’s temple and shares the same and new stories with cubs and any lion whose interested.

Aggression level: Lower Middle as it takes a lot or very specific things to make him get on the defensive.

Extra: He’s very fatherly towards cubs - his own or not - and had wish as a cub for a sibling as it could get a bit boring and lonely when his mother was out hunting when he wasn’t big enough to go along.

Physical Description
When the evil royal family looked at their youngest son, they felt unmeasurable disappointment. It didn't help that Amir was the only unmutated lion from their entire family. Amir had been a small, sickly cub. One to get ill easily and who struggled harshly to remain healthy. The cub was always sniffling whenever he did anything and his weak state led him to be very weak. Fortunately for young Amir though, that didn't remain. As Amir grew older, his parents believed he would be a maneless male. At one year old, his mane hadn't appeared. Truly a shame, truly an embarrassment. Fortunately for young Amir though, he had simply been a late bloomer. After months, his mane finally began to grow in and his small stature ceased. Amir began to have rapid, out of nowhere growth spurts, leading him to become a towering of an adolescent, finally taller than his sister and getting closer to his older brother in height.

Prince Amir carries himself with pride and elegance. There is a cold look in his eye, a sneer typically on his face. Amir finds himself looking down on others, a habit he didn't have but one that was forced upon him by his kin. It is better to walk with sense rather than wander aimlessly. Atop of his head is a crown made of bones and at the rest of his body, he wears armor of bones, teeth, and claws. It makes him look regal and commanding, intimidating. However the most notable piece of decor on him has to be the mask he wears regularly. The skull of a lion crushed in half, one that he wears without fail. It covers the deep scars across his face, caused by his father. Furious, deep claw swipes, so harsh that they ripped the bottom of his lip. Amir, though he carries himself with pride, is incredibly insecure because of it.

Once his armor is taken off though, the young prince's pelt is revealed. Truly a sight to see, all sorts of colors tying beautifully. Amir, out of all his siblings, seems to be the closest in appearance to their mother. He is a golden lion with dark markings. Most notably having a dark back, dark face, and especially dark paws/legs. His mane is also dark in hue, although, it's golden at the ends. He's got a light white underbelly, reaching his muzzle and the insides of his ears. He's got white ear spots resting gently on his dark ear rims. The most beautiful marking of his has to be the golden rosettes on his pelt, as if the sun kissed his own pelt. Truly, he's a handsome young male and will likely grow to be a very attractive lion. Lastly are his Draconic eyes, a rich golden in hue but his black pupils are naturally narrowed into tiny slits, never returning to their full size. It is unknown whether if this is purposely for intimidation factor or if Amir simply can't dilate them.

History

Amir had never been the first choice, that much was made clear when he was born into the world. He was the Evil Queen and Evil King's second litter, born eight months after their first evil litter, Taka and Rika'ni. He was born alongside his littermate, also known as the youngest evil daughter, Xena. Amir was there for one reason and one reason only. In case Taka turned out to be a total failure, they needed a backup. And that's what Amir was, simply a backup. Unfortunately for him though, Taka would blossom into just the perfect seeming son of the two. Amir was now simply a leftover, one that they didn't know what to do with.

Prince Amir came into the world as a weak, puny cub. One that often caught sicknesses and was close to death. He'd push on though and eventually after his first year, he grew stronger. Still, he was a late bloomer due to the amount of illnesses he endured and that didn't make the Evil King happy. Not at all. How could a son of has be past the first year mark and still not have a mane? Truly an embarrassment. Before Amir knew it, now the Evil King was constantly on him, pushing him, shoving him forwards. He didn't want a puny son, that made him look bad. All of his kin must be powerful fighters, that included Amir.

It became a common routine for Amir. He would train endlessly with his father and if he'd fail in anyway, he'd be punished. And physically. It started out light at first, just a shove, a push every now and again. Just bruises, nothing he couldn't handle. Then it started getting gruesome. Cuts, bites, swipes, anything. The king was growing impatient. It was time for Amir to finally show his worth. He was tasked with the simple task of killing an innocent. More specifically, a lioness on the verge of death. Amir was barely past the half-way mark of adolescence. He didn't know what to do, or how to kill for that matter. So, he leapt onto the back of the lioness.

Adrenaline coursed through her veins. She didn't want to die, not today. Turning around, she fought the undersized Amir and pinned him to the floor. Letting out a fearsome roar, the Evil King killed her before she could cause any real damage. A sigh of relief escaped Amir. Nothing bad had happened, he was safe. That was, until the Evil King turned to him with blazing eyes. Incredible rage filled him. His son had failed, he'd show him what happened to failures. It was a look that Amir knew well, he would be hurt. He had to escape.

It was too late though. Before Amir had the chance to run off, his face was ruined by the long, sharp claws of his own father. One slash, two slash. The Evil King wanted to continue with his attacks but he knew that if he did anymore, his son would die. Worthless. Stepping off of the adolescent, he turned to walk off, leaving Amir on the ground, blood rushing out of the wounds on his face. His lower lip had been ripped from his face. He was permanently stained with the reminder of his unworthiness to his father. Amir had never felt more broken in his life.

Although Amir doesn't show it and certainly wouldn't admit it, he feels fear whenever his father is near. Vivi is a bold, stubborn lioness with a strong will, and an even stronger personality. She has no regard for others personal space, in the physical sense anyway. She’s always been sociable, and also curious, usually being the first to check out anything-or anyone-the others would dub as ‘sketchy,’ for shy just doesn’t seem to be a concept she can grasp, and as such, she is often drawn to those who would rather spend their time alone. Vivi can be extremely persuasive and charming when she wants to be, but she can also be manipulative and vicious while wearing a sweet smile.
She can be impulsive, and if you make her mad, she's quick to attack, but she doesn't hold grudges, and as quick as she is to resort to violence, she's just as quick to apologize and put the whole thing behind her. Though the other party usually isn’t so forgiving.
You’d probably think this meant Vivi has a quick temper, but that isn’t necessarily so. She actually has more patience than many give her credit for. She just doesn’t like wait if there is no need to.
Vivi doesn't believe in keeping things buried inside her, so you will never misunderstand this lioness because she will always tell you exactlyhow she's feeling, or what she thinks of you, or a situation. Obviously this particular trait has a few more 'downs' than it does 'ups' but some might appreciate her for her straightforwardness. And despite everything, Vivi is loyal to the core and will always have a shoulder to lean on or an open ear if you just need to vent. She’ll try to cheer you if you’re down, and will openly confront those who hurt you.

Rika'ni's personality is.. complicated. Growing up with a lion who is.. unkind... changed her. She grew from kind, to bitter and solemn. She has a near-permanent cold gaze, that shifts only when taking in a family member that she does not whole-heartedly despise. Although she is skilled at manipulation, she prefers to use it as a last resort rather than throw all her cards on the table at once. She can seem prideful at times, carrying herself with a 'holier-than-thou' sense of being. Truly? She does not believe this.. or at least she used to not believe it. Her guard is never down, mental walls built so high up not even the sun can gaze upon her insecurities.

Backstory:

Being born with the fangs of their long dead ancestors could have been either a blessing or a curse. However, Rika's father made sure it became the latter, at least in her own eyes. She was seen as a pawn more than anything else, particularly because she needed a use. Her littermate was raised to lead, so what was she? Useless? She couldnt be. He wouldnt allow her to be. He trained her long and hard, pushing her to become the best warrior he could make her. To use her fangs wisely and make sure that if she attacked someone, they did not stand a chance of winning.

As she grew, she came to despise her father. Especially when her younger siblings came into the world. She took many beatings so that they would not have to. And even then, she couldn't protect them forever. Not that she thought she could in the first place.. But when her youngest brother came back, bloodied from training, it truly sank in. Exactly how powerless she was against the lion she called father. She could not avenge her brother.. and this angered her. It made her grow bitter. But not enough to twist her soul. She would not become like him. She could not.

Appearance:Eregia has a stunning brown pelt with dark brown rosettes,and long faded stripes. Covering her muzzle,paws,and belly is a bright cream color. Her eyes colored yellow. A scar rests on her throat. Sometimes when wondering territory,she wears a skull to cover her face.

Backstory:being born in a hidden cave,Eregia never went to see the outside world. Her mother or father always left her for a whole day,before coming back. Her father was a tiger and couldn’t go far into pride territory. Her mother always had a difficult time trying to hide her tigon cub. Eregia was always confused why she couldn’t leave or go with either of her parents. One day,eregia’s mother pride found the cave and her mother told her to run away. Doing what she was told,all she could hear was the roars and the scent of blood in the air. running away far enough and was found near a small human village,a Maine coon started to take care of her. The Maine coon named Tymon was a father figure to her as she continued to grow,tho they had a hard time understanding each other. Noticing how big Eregia has gotten,Tymon decided they both should live back on the pride territory. Now,they both explore the good and evil territory. Who would they join?
