I did not think I would need to make this post, really, but I experienced someone trying to sell obvious AI art today on the forums and I am not happy about it. Lioden has very strict anti-tracing for profit rules, and I believe the terms should be updated to include AI art in this as well. That’s the whole suggestion- make an addition to the policy to include the explicit banning of attempts to sell artificially generated art on site and make it a bannable offense. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that AI art is trained on real other people's work, right? Usually/sometimes stolen work, at that? And that it mimics, or steals, other artists' styles? If that's true, it definitely shouldn't be allowed to be sold.  2 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah, this should probably not be allowed. Supported. @leon: Yes, a lot of it is, which is a big reason why a lot of people don't like it. There are other reasons, but a big reason is that it scrapes other artist's work without permission and is sometimes able to nearly replicate a piece of art completely. 2 players like this post! I see! Gross. I've seen a program called Glaze that sets out to protect an artist's image from AI training, but, anyway, definitely no place being sold on Lioden. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support, its problmatic to begin with and I'm tired of seeing money hungry art sites to walk allover the artist's rights and allow AI. So please, let Lioden be free of it u_u 0 players like this post! Like? |

i thought part of the rules was already not selling art you alone didn't make or at least you plus another lioden user you credit? so why would this be allowed to begin with 2 players like this post! Like? |

I've spoken with mods about this, and AI art falls under "art that you did not create with your own hands." So it's already forbidden, technically. Still supported anyways  4 players like this post! Like? |
