This is just a simple little comic I decided to make for fun- A majority of the effort went into the first panel, but I do like how it came out, even if it isn't my best work. May update to add speech bubbles at some point

Na’Chinu the ruthless got his title for a reason. His temper was as short as his attitude was bitter. To put it more simply, he was an asshole. Unsurprisingly, he wasn't exactly the most nurturing father. Tinteku would never have been his first choice in heir had he not been looking to have one of his own blood and he hadn't been his only choice. Especially when it seemed Tinteku didn't exactly take after him in the personality department either.
He had been hoping for someone stronger, tougher, and not as... flowery and small. He did his best to try 'training' the theatrics out of him, but all that really did was leave lasting emotional damage. He tended to do that a lot under the excuse it was supposed to 'make him tougher', especially when he didn't do as well in combat training as he was supposed to. Thankfully, now that he's older, Tinteku is unlearning a lot of the harmful things he was taught, and that it's alright to be softer, and less conventional in the standards of self-expression. Now that he's been able to craft his own identity, persona, and manner of battle, he's been unbelievably happier, though he still has a lot of healing to do from his upbringing as a whole.

In good news, Na'chinu is in fact, extremely dead now. You can thank a certain coldhearted tyrant for that.



Tinteku never actually met his mother until he was an adult, but that isn't exactly either of their faults. Vaalah is a traveling lioness and an entirely free spirit. She's dabbled in shamanism, as well as things like poetry and art, but she's settled on being a humble wanderer lending a paw to those who need it. And in the case of Tinteku's existence, Na'chinu was one of those she helped.
That being said, by no means had she had any feelings towards him, much less any positive ones as a whole, it was just a rightful exchange of currency for even the possibility of him finally having an heir he had wanted. And once Tinteku was born, although she had wanted to be even slightly involved in his life, she was ushered away and sent back along her nomadic path instead of even being given a semblance of a chance to take care or lend help in the upbringing of the cub she had carried.

Nowadays, her and Tinteku occasionally spend time together whenever their paths are fortunate enough to intertwine, reconnecting after so long of being separated. It's quite sweet to see them walking the outskirts of Tinteku's territory together, especially since Tinteku is always so excited to tell her about his recent adventures and victories and listen to her stories in return. He doesn't always pick up on the meanings and deeper themes behind them, but he's happy nonetheless with his mom time.
Sometimes Vaalah feels a bit guilty about the situation she unknowingly brought him into, and that she didn't fight more adamantly to be there to help him avoid the hurt he had gone through as a consequence of things that weren't his fault at such a young age. Even if she knows it wasn't her fault either, sometimes it makes her heart ache. She did her best, and she really does love her son now that she's involved in his life even semi-often.

I mentioned Tinteku was not only a young adult, but that he's extremely small for a lion in general, to the point he's commonly mistaken as some sort of young cheetah hybrid at first glance.
But, I never gave examples of his (current) size, so here's a few height comparisons with, in order, Vashkartzen, V'Kai, and his father, Na'chinu.





NOTE - With the new encounters during the May event, there is a lioness that has a small posture and isn't able to compete in the championships due to weight regulations (Her name being Pei'Kat).
Regarding that, yes, I am aware that realistically, Tinteku wouldn't be able to be a brawler in the championships with this update, or honestly in general, much less one who goes against opponents I've established that he does. However, I'm electing to ignore that due to the fact I crafted his character and story before that was entirely established, and I love Tinteku and don't feel like changing his already fairly goofy character for a newly established bit of canon.
He is indeed, just a little guy, and nothing about that will be changing.

Tinteku is a g3, 900+ stat, Bushveld Dorsal fur, and is currently the only Bushveld Dorsal Fur lion and king in game.
Currently he is 9BO with a breed-only base, eye color, and mane color, along with six BO markings.
