That’s perfectly fine, is there anything else that is not as desired? (I’m unlikely to desaturate it, as the other version comes out muddied and the patterns disappear) but I’m glad to know that it comes across as such, perhaps I can tweak it in other ways

Also I understand that a highly saturated purple base isn’t for everyone! But I’ve been wanting to have a highly colored, deep purple base for awhile, so I decided to create this! Hopefully more edits come soon, and it will look a little better!

tbh the gradient doesn't give me amethyst vibes, but i may be thinking too much about raw/natural amethyst here >~<

uncut amethyst, especially african amethysts tend to be lighter towards the bottom (and then darker usually, but i'm not counting the stone left attached to cheaper/lower quality amethyst)


EDIT: we may be looking at different types of amethyst as refs. these are all african amethyst. in general google is not good for refs of gems, these are all sourced from gem sell/auction sites
